That means you are approved mate

You are in the que for the PPI call

Really? Is that how they do things at Vanquis? They wont tell you so they can call you? If that is the case I would not be completely happy how they do things.

When you have the card how are they to deal with? Are they still after trying to sell you things?

I have had Vanquis for over a year and have received one call extolling the virtues of PPI. I politely declined.

When I phoned up the guy seemed very pleasant and informative. And he was able to understand my accent which seemed a problem for those people at Capital One so that was quite refreshing.

?? cretin? and what has rattled your cage?

If you don't like it then don't react but trust me, Vanquis will not ring your mobile with your welcome call. Name calling will not win you many friends, discussions are an integral part of any thread and as such you ought to realise that people will challenge you and not to take it personally.

It is strange that Vanquis rung your mobile, i've never once called you a liar - you did, I never! I simply queried your facts, that is all. Normally we call this a discussion thread, however you've just made it into a mockery. :T

erm....vanquis called me on my mobile to accept me for a card. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

i have a landline, and a number....but no phone is connected

I asked Vanquis about this when I rung in March and they did say their technology is allowing more facilities and they are starting to ring mobiles now. I posted this in March sometime....

Obviously when they state on website that in order to qualify you must have a landline then why, if they ring a mobile? Anyway, that issue is resolved - they do ring mobiles now.
    :o 2010 - year of the troll :o
