I can confirm that Vanquis do call your mobile. They even sent a text message asking for me to call them re the application. Must admit, i was a little taken aback by that.

Nope it was only on thursday. I am expecting a decline letter though now. All doom and gloom today thanks to Aqua!

Noooo mate keep fingers crossed, as I told you in sub-prime, no news = good news with Vanquis..... just keep us updated on this thread please.... we got a great appeal letter if they do say no (another N-i-D plug lol)

Well I will keep everything crossed but I am happy with my Cap One at least. And having done 5 years without any credit then you certainly get used to not having it.

I applied a month ago (again), and got refused again ah well just need to try Capital One next. :rolleyes:

Yeah online banking is definitely needed. It makes things so much easier, especially for people like me who spend a fair amount of time on the web.
