Obviously when they state on website that in order to qualify you must have a landline then why, if they ring a mobile? Anyway, that issue is resolved - they do ring mobiles now.

I applied for Vanquis on 7th May and haven't heard anything back from them yet.

Might give them a call today.

I applied for my Vanquis card on the 02/01/09 and on the 06/01/09 they called me saying yes Iv got 3 defaults if that helps any one.

I have the worst credit in history lol and I have applied for a Vanquis card many times but eventually got one few months ago I have also had my credit limit increased as I am paying on time. I think it is fab and can't thank them enough for giving me a chance to start again! However I got a call about a wekk or so later to say I had been approved.

I've had a few missed calls from an 0800 number and finally rang it back today, to find it was Vanquis, letting me have a card! They tried to sell me allsorts of other stuff too, but I just said no, and my card's on its way. I forgot to ask what my limit was though. DOH!
