    Did you confirm a home telephone number with them?

    On my last application I said I didn't have a home telephone number in use on my telephone conversation with them and I got the 10 - 14 days line too. (It was a decline)

    This time I made sure I said I did have a home telephone number (even though it's only connected to the sky box!) and got approved on the phone.

    The lady on the phone asked for a number for them to be able to contact me easier and I gave her my mobile.

    It'll be a decline, that's what I did first time. They want a landline.

    I don't care about your calculations i am telling you now,if you have a vanquis credit card your apr is not 34.9%.

    Well to be honest I quite expected you to say that, you like to come here and just constantly rubbish Vanquis where for some of us it's a chance to start.

    However, I trust the poster, Izools, who posted the calculation, so I'll go with that :)

    2.6 The (variable) APR in relation to your Account at the time of the agreement is one of the following:
    • Tier A) 19.9% APR (variable);
    • Tier B) 29.9% APR (variable);
    • Tier C) 34.9% APR(variable);
    • Tier D) 39.9% APR(variable);
    • Tier E) 49.9% APR (variable);
    • Tier F) 59.9% APR (variable).
    So Star-fire Stop telling him he cant have an apr of 34.9% as its there under Tier C

    Interersting that the initial posts on this thread are about being declined by Vanquis , I thought they would decline applicants who have healthy mainstream financial products :p

    5 credit searches in the month prior to Vanquis application (I aim for 6 every six months and do them all in the same month)

    pity I didn't spot the plum card before applying :D
