Have you tried one of the sygma credit card range as yet?

Not yet, I'm still a little wary trying for mainstream cards. Are Sygma fully mainstream or semi?

I've also recently moved house and am not yet updated on my credit files as being on the electoral roll, despite getting a polling card for local elections. Apparantly there is a bit of a black hole if you go on the electoral roll between Sept & January when the roll is updated, the CRA's don't update until January, or so I've been told.

I'm pretty sure that will not look good for me and don't really want to waste the searches.

Quite early on for me, after 6 months was the first one - that was July this year & now this one.
  • Arrived home today to find a letter from Vanquis, asking me to call them. So I did, confirmed some details, and they said I should hear in 10-14 days!

Funny thing is I've not received a phone call from them (to my knowledge) and the letter said they had tried calling me!

Did you confirm a home telephone number with them?

On my last application I said I didn't have a home telephone number in use on my telephone conversation with them and I got the 10 - 14 days line too. (It was a decline)

This time I made sure I said I did have a home telephone number (even though it's only connected to the sky box!) and got approved on the phone.
