    lol, hello brian,

I promise Im not stalking you its just your the unlucky person who gets to read my ramblings :)

Will call both tomorrow and possibly put on my "sad"voice in the vain hope they will feel sorry for me and demand it take out their credit card or catalogue.

If all else fails am going to give up for 6 months cos aside from this I think a broker who I went with a few months ago (I know now that was stupid) is still trying to get applications for me which I dont want

I keep getting texts and calls from companies saying your application is being processed and when I call up to find out what they are talking about they sound shocked, Am now getting used to saying "please remove my details from your system cos Im not interested".

I have already complained to the ombudsman about this company so you would think they would stop it now but if their applications are getting put as searches on my file I suppose I only have myself to blame though they will also be getting a call tomorrow with less polite language

Defaults, late payments etc? Not being nosy in any way just here to ATTEMPT to offer advice as to building a better credit rating over time.
I have 2 defaults, drop off next year but by reading a lot on here, particulalrly the sub prime thread I have opened several accounts, purely for the green zero's. This time next year I will have 3 years of impeccable history and will then start to lower my exposure to 'available credit' in time for my reports being totally spotless :D

I don't mind, the more help I can get rebuilding my file the better!
I don't have any defaults or late payments that I'm aware of at all.
The bankruptcy was due to business debts and a commercial mortgage, all personal debt was always paid on time and never had any defaults with them at all. the note I've put on my credit file also says this now

Well I am really confused now

I was told a few days ago by Vanquis that I had been declined then I got a missed call off them so I called them today to find out what was going on and the lady I spoke to said I hadn't been declined my application had been paused but there were no notes to say why so she has spoken to her manager and she said they will put me back on their system as of today and call me tomorrow so it looks like I still have a chance at getting it :j

JD Williams on the other hand don't seem to have a clue whether I am a customer or not. I got e-mails from them confirming I had been accepted for an account with them and gave me a credit limit of £150 then I received an email saying I had not been successful in my application so I queried this with them today giving them the account number I had been allocated and the poor woman sounded flustered and said credit control would contact me within 72 hours

    All very mad

Yeah JD Williams have done that to me too they came back to me today and said that there had been an error and I didn't meet their lending criteria after all but am not too bothered, have just asked them to remove my details from their system.

As for Vanquis they say they are going to call me tomorrow but wont get my hopes up just in case and if they dont call me tomorrow as you say I will call them in a few days :)

They can increase it to a million billion percent if they like - I pay it off each month so I don't give them a penny!!
