Well that's it. Last of the balance of Vanquis transferred to the Sygma MyWorld on 0% for 6 months. Time to close the Vanquis down I think. It served it's purpose over the last 2-3 years, but I'm slowly heading back towards primeIn need of a new signature! :rotfl:0

TBH you aren't missing out, their APR and customer service are both absolutely dire.

In nearly 2 years with Vanquis I have never had a problem as regards customer service.
Rang up to query minimum finance charge when it happened, sorted instantly, rang to change address sorted instantly.
Yes the APR is high but easily avoided by paying in full every month and until a customer reaches the higher levels of credit limits carrying a balance isn't a huge issue.
My highest balance carried over was £2000 paid in two halves and cost me around £140 in charges.
Most days now I just use it as a charge card, spend what I like monthly and pay it off.
Don't really need it to be honest but loathe to let it go as essentially they took a chance on me when I needed it :beer:Natwest gold..Limit £1750 bal £970..Vanquis Limit £3000 bal £0..Littlewoods..Limit £1200 bal 0..Additions direct..Limit £4900 bal £1356..Empire Limit £6200 bal £152..Jd williams..Limit £1100 bal £130..Simplybe..Limit £1500 bal 265,,Fashion world..Limit £1400 bal £145 Jacamo..Limit£125 bal 0

I currently owe around £2,500 across three cards. In total I am charged around £60 a month in interest.
I don't see how more than double that amount in charges for a balance £500 less can be considered "reasonable".Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
