Or longer. Never missed a payment, credit rating is a million times better than it was when I took the card and still waiting.

I had my Capital One card for three years without being offered a credit limit increase. Always paid the balance in full on time. Then between January and April of this year I started paying above the minimum payments but not the full amount, and all of a sudden they bump my limit up by an extra £1000. (As soon as I started paying interest. V much doubt that was a coincidence!)

you may be right i owe roughly 100 on mine pay 40 odd a month but spend prob 30

so they are technicly making money out of me, i just use it to top up my phone etc

having said that my account shows to have been gradually incresing in borrowing, but still good paying so i may look like a potential nob end that ends up owing loads to them

    4th Increase - £2250 :-)

Does that qualify me for one of the Gold Cards do you think?

    I love Vanquis!

month 12 increased to 1750 which is a bloody good increase !!

we do leave a balance on the card, her apr is 34.9% they said on the phone that the apr may be going down and to check her next statement.

If a lot of other people on here are anything to go by, getting upgraded to Gold means an INCREASE in APR. Check your next statement (and subsequent) VERY carefully.

thats why i said may be lol

the apr she has had for the last 12 months was 34.9% variable

she has also been accepetd for a cap1 in the last few weeks, 200 limit 34.9%.

I applied and both just swore at me....

still 1k increase is quite good imo, we wont use that becuase of the apr but still a good increase

    Hi

I have applied to vanquis and had a message saying they would contact me in 7-14 days, just had a text to say they will be ringing this afternoon, does that mean I have been accepted?
What will they ask when they ring?

    Thanks In advance

Yes this means that they have accepted you and want to call you to sell you insurance and a cash advance (which you won't take, of course).

    Well done :o
