yea but his words were something like 'he called me a pa**i in so many words, I don't have to put up with that shat. I told him so and he continued being racist demanding someone from the UK so I told him I was from Birmingham and he seemed to calm down. He did call me a suntanned grape which upset me'.

    I was cringeing.......

    Brilliant!

I just noticed your posted count of 332 it shocked me cause you must have done 150 posts in 2 days :rotfl: :rotfl: :T :T

It is actually 8 years for linked addressed, but after 6 years you can request that the data is removed as it is now irrelevant. Ultimatly it is still the decsion of whoever entered it!

nah mate, DPA stipulates 6 years and linked can stay on forever but it won't matter cos after 6yrs all derogatory info from the wrong linked address would have dropped off so it wouldn't affect anything.

BUT 6yrs is the legal time to record data, however the CRA's abuse this by holding data for 6yrs and then the 3 years that you see live on the system stays for 6yrs so in essence it is 9yrs! That is why I mention in the SAR to sign a form confirming nothing exists after 6yrs, if it does and they send it to me i'll then legally have a right to demand it is immediately destroyed as the DPA tells them 6yrs is the maximum

Its complex and not as clear cut as you may think mate

Orange? Are you sure about this?

Hmmm, that's interesting. And they say you've had a contract at an address which clearly isn't yours right?

Be honest, was it you or genuinely wasn't?

At an address I have never lived at or known anyone from and no definatly wasn't mine. This address link is from 08/2004 I wasn't even old enough to get credit HA HA

I do agree, I didn't even know these SAR's were possible and I was stupidly unaware that these Spy Companies operated

Please tell me you're not serious? And you say this is with Experian? If so then I think you ought to email my mate directly (lee.hancock@uk.experian.com) and tell him the facts and he will get it wiped for you.

If not then go to his boss; andrew.mills@uk.experian.com

If you weren't even 18 then tell them this and they will take it off!
