I was cringeing.......

nah mate, DPA stipulates 6 years and linked can stay on forever but it won't matter cos after 6yrs all derogatory info from the wrong linked address would have dropped off so it wouldn't affect anything.
BUT 6yrs is the legal time to record data, however the CRA's abuse this by holding data for 6yrs and then the 3 years that you see live on the system stays for 6yrs so in essence it is 9yrs! That is why I mention in the SAR to sign a form confirming nothing exists after 6yrs, if it does and they send it to me i'll then legally have a right to demand it is immediately destroyed as the DPA tells them 6yrs is the maximum
Its complex and not as clear cut as you may think mate2010 - year of the troll

Please tell me you're not serious? And you say this is with Experian? If so then I think you ought to email my mate directly (lee.hancock@uk.experian.com) and tell him the facts and he will get it wiped for you.
If not then go to his boss; andrew.mills@uk.experian.com
If you weren't even 18 then tell them this and they will take it off!2010 - year of the troll
