Well Northern Rocks standard variable rate is 4.49 or something...
Yea but i'm on a non standard mortgage, i.e. self cert meaning the risk is obviouslt astoundingly high so for my rate to be so low is like amazing - the recession benefitted me no end (I am over £700 p/m better off lol)2010 - year of the troll

Hi, I've had a Vanquis card since June and haven't received any credit limit increases yet. I've used it every month and paid off in full every month (apart from when I randomly got a £1 minimum finance charge).
On the website it says they will increase the limit on the 4th statement - does anyone know why I haven't got the increase?
EDIT: I called them back on the 0800 number above (I gave up earlier as I had been waiting 20 minutes on the 0871 number) and they said its because I hadn't been keeping my account right up to its existing credit limit.0 -
So is the advice, to get a raise, to spend e.g. the full £250 a month and pay it off in full to get a raise?0

i was doing that each month and i got raised on my 6th statement to £750 from £2500

I got raised on my 4th statement to £550 (never paid it in full so paid a little interest on it). I have now been raised to £1250. Been with them less than a year. I pay it off in full now, was a tad skint when I first got it.Payment a day challenge: £236.69
Jan Shopping Challenge: £202.09/£250
Frugal Living Challenge: £534.64/150000
