I was reading over this thread today, and some others, and people mentione dthey had no increase, I thought to myself I bet I am one of the ones who dont get it, and as luck would have it, my statement arrived today, raised limit to £500 after 4 statements and only two payments (this payment will be my third)

The same happened to me in November, I'm hoping to get further increase, possibly next month. It was also after 3rd statement and 2nd payment.

Ive had mine a year and only 1 increase, after month 5 or 6. Still sitting at £500 - I wonder if they can see the fact I have 3 mainstream cards including a couple of gold cards? Maybe they know I am not their kind of customer?

Fuk em - never use the card anyway lol

Does the APR go down as well after you've had it a bit? I'm not bothered about my £250 limit, but I'm in the top 60% apr band.

They do it automatically - I got mine reduced to 32% when I closed it down a few months ago - they told me they would lower it if I kept the account. Bear in mind i've had it a year and spent maybe 3 chinese meals on it and paid off in full.....

In fact, am just going to use it now to buy a pizza delivery to work :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Hi
I applied for a Vanquis card last night about 9am and was told I would get a decision in 7 - 10 days. Got a phonecall from someone at 8am this morning asking me to confirm phone numbers, income, dob etc and was then told someone would let me know in 7 days. Good or bad do you think? Does this mean I'm likely to be accepted??!! x:confused:
