Statement 3 arrived yesterday, limit increase to £500
(Paid in full by direct debit each month)
The kind of customer they [STRIKE]like[/STRIKE] love. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -
Morning troops!
Still no increase
Ah well only had the card since May I suppose I shouldn't be so impatient.
Those of you who've had the nice increases, how have you run your Vanquis card? I have mine set up with a DD for the full amount and use it for the grocery shopping every month, which is around £200 ~ £250 so I take the card pretty close to its limit each month and pay off in full (The highest balance has been £249.77!! Never over limit, but that month was scraping it close)
Selecta_c seems to have the highest Vanquis limit here of £2,500 - how'd you do it mate?
You should get an increase on your 7th statment with an increase of £500 on top of your current limit.
A family member had there limit increased on the 7th statment from £250 to £750, Where as I got my increse on my 4th statment from £500 to £1000.
Vanquis increased both our limits by £500.00 and seem to be doing so for most people.
Just hold on a little longer, you will get an increase very soon.0 -

My card has only been active for about a week, when does your first statement normally arrive?
That's a bit hit and miss with Vanquis, mine took 5 weeks, my OH's took 3. Give them a call and they should be able to tell you.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

i.e. what options do I press...? :beer:2010 - year of the troll

You got it
That said, my card is active (I spent £2500 on it to stop them closing it lol)..... but they have now charged me £25 for exceeding my o/d when I was £11 overdrawn - even though they reduced it and sent the letter 3 days after it was reduced - how was I to know that they'd reduced it and to credit the account? So i've threatened court over it and will follow it through unless they sort it out!
I also want my behaviour score restoring to its previous level as its now in the 40's due to their balls-up. I'll take this to the hilt if needs be, out of principle (if only they knew who they were dealing with!)...
My other thought is that they've cottoned on that i'm niddy boy
