Must admit ive never had problems using card but a £250 limit is rather restricting and frankly useless to me it just annoys me that i know people with 1/4 my income with credit cards with £2-3000 limits and all i can get taking into account ive never missed any payments on any debts is a sub prime card with a £250 limit :mad:Total Debts @ Dec 2009 £16,2850

I never missed a payment, always on time, never over limit. I didnt get an increase for nearly a year. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0

Does anyone have any experience in appealing to vanquis as in have they ever said yes and how long it takes them to get back?0

Yes you can appeal and yes they have overturned decisions and it takes as long as is necessary - can be 2 weeks to 4 weeks.... usually they will send the card or they will ring you.

Rather stupid question, how long does it take to open a Vanquis c/c? Have old defaults from 2006 and 2007 but all things I've had since then (student account, phone contract) have been paid on time and used properly (no late payments, no fees, etc) and I'm paying back what I owe albeit slowly. Do you need to send them in anything if they approve you? Oh, I am on the electoral roll too now, so that may help?** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

If you are accepted they will give you a call - normally within a day or two of applying. After the call they will send your card out and it can take up to 10 days for receipt. You really do have to be on the electoral roll to have a good chance of being accepted so that ticks a box.0
