    £3,250!?

Cor, imagine the interest on that if you'd maxed it out! Perish the thought...

Don't know if I want to pay interest on it, I suppose one month of interest every now and again wouldn't be too bad if it results in regular increases :o

    Morning troops!

    Still no increase :(

Ah well only had the card since May I suppose I shouldn't be so impatient.

Those of you who've had the nice increases, how have you run your Vanquis card? I have mine set up with a DD for the full amount and use it for the grocery shopping every month, which is around £200 ~ £250 so I take the card pretty close to its limit each month and pay off in full (The highest balance has been £249.77!! Never over limit, but that month was scraping it close ;))

Selecta_c seems to have the highest Vanquis limit here of £2,500 - how'd you do it mate?

I use about half of my available every month, pay it all off by full amount DD and got my first increase after 3 months.

My OH uses about the same, once he went up to £198, he pays his whole balance manually and got his first increase after 4 months.

    Be both have horrendous CRF's.

Did they offer you a £200 or £450 cash advance? If £200 then you have a £250 limit or if they offered £450 then your limit is £500 :D:D

  • Just applied yesterday and got a call this morning to say I'd been accepted. Ty to all above for their help with making my decision. Aiming to use it once/twice a month (petrol or shopping) and DD it all in full each month

Cheeky bu99ers at Vanquis! Got my statement today and there's £1.00 minimum finance charge on it. Phoned to ask what it was and was told 'oh that's the charge we make when your interest is less than £1'. All well and good but I pay the statement in full each month, 'sorry - that charge shouldn't be there - I'll get it taken off'.

How many accounts each month do they put this £1 charge on in error but it gets paid because nobody queries it?
