Who can Check-In online?
All passengers using online check-in must present their valid passport or a valid National Identity Card issued by the government of a European Economic Area (EEA) country which matches the document details printed on their online boarding pass, at both airport security and the boarding gate (see paragraph headed "Documentation" for details of accepted EU/EEA National Identity Cards).
(...)
The following passengers do not qualify for:
(...)- Passengers travelling with infants (*)
A refund of the airport check-in fee is only applicable to the person unable to avail of the service and not all passengers in the reservation.0 -
I faxed in a claim for the same circumstances and was refunded in less than 2 weeks. All they needed was copies of the passport photo page and flight reference number.0

Hi im knew here so please be gentle
I'm flying Ryanair next Wednesday from London Stanstead to Glasgow Prestwick. When I booked the flight for me and my partner, I chose the check in online with 2 bags. I checked in online last night and my partner re-printed the boarding passes today at his work, we dont have a printer. I havent heard anything from Ryanair, can I just assume that we are all checked in and just have to leave our baggage at the drop off point?
Can I also ask what the procedure is regarding dropping off our baggage?
Sorry for the dumb questions, never flown with them before and im just a little confused by it all.

Sorry, I thought maybe I could answer your query as I do STN-PIK frequently - but I never have check-in luggage. If you have your printed boarding cards, then you are def checked-in as there is a warning screen before you get to print them which says "No changes can be made, blah, blah". I think you can also check the status of your booking by going back into the "Online Check-in" section on their homepage. It will show if you are already checked in.
Hope someone can help with baggage drop-off question.0 -
I had flied with Rynair before and requested for refund. They credit the money on the day I received the confirmation email. But this time, they just send me email but I did not receive the money even one month after now.0

i have not done it with ryanair (but due to fly with them in two weeks) but have done it with BA when you get to the airport they have a bag drop you still answer questions did you pack yourself etc they weight them tag them and off you go. hope its the same with ryanair.0

I've done it with Jet 2 and that was the same so I imagine it will be same with Ryanair (I hope, I'm flying with them in June).
I would say that with online check in, even if you don't have to get to the airport as early, still allow plenty of time as the queues for security checks are still pretty horrendous. With Jet2 it said if you had checked in online then you could leave it until 45 minutes before the flight, we left an hour and only just made the flight. I think 1 1/2 hours would have made it more relaxed.0 -
Hi there
We flew Liverpool to Palma last week with Ryan Air. I didnt find any advantage to checking in on line if you have luggage to check in. You still have to queue with everyone else who is checking in. If your bags are less than 10 kgs and under a certain size, then you can take them on to the plane, so you dont have to queue.
Also, I'm not being funny but do you know where Prestwick Airport is? I dont know how they call it Glasgow Prestwick as it is miles away.0
