did they charge any admin fee, and do you know how quickly you have to apply ?
No admin fee, airport check-in fee refunded in full, every time. Don't know how quickly you must apply, their Ts & Cs do not specify.

I've booked a flight with Ryanair in 3 days time and have checked in.
I now wish to change to a different route but the website says I can't change because I've checked in!
Is there any way around this or any hope of a refund.
How would I go about seeking a refund?
    Thanks

To obtain your refund, first train some pigs to fly, then get Hell to freeze over.

    Hi

Has anybody actually measured the metal 'measuring guages' that Ryanair use?

Does it actually measure 55 x 40 x 20? Does this measurement have to include the wheels/handles?

Can someone please measure it??!!!!!

Maybe a Ryanair worker or a passenger could take the trouble to measure it as it would be so helpful to know the actual dimentions , rather than have to spend on another case for the sake of 1cm....

Thats way under the size they allow just make sure any liquids lip stick etc it under 100ml indivually and that total amount of liquid going through security is under 1 litre and is in a see thru' resealable plastic bag.(Ryanair usually supply these free of charge at the airport.)
Once through security you can buy anything else you need liquid and carry it on plane. But watch on return journey as same principal applies.
I usually have a shoulder bag crossed over my body and a suitcase within their size limits with no trouble.

    Have a great weekend!

At my airport they cost 50p for 2 in a machine-never been offered them free.

I'm a bit sad but I actually made a bag 55 X 40 X 20 and yes it did fit in Ryanair's measuring gauge (after a shove!). I made the Birmingham/Krakow flight a few days ago on Ryanair - I didn't see any bags measured or weighed but lots of people were pulled over for carrying more than one bag (handbags, duty free bags etc) and were told to either fit their additional bags into their carry-ons, leave them behind, or check them into the hold at extra cost.

Was it all a bit of a squezze or was the height ok? My childrens cases are within the width and depth dimentions but out by a couple of cm's if you include the wheels....the actual case is less than 55cm.......

Don't hold me to it but I think you'll probably be OK. As long as your bags will fit in the overhead luggage rack I can't see there will be a problem.
I made holdalls to Ryanair's dimensions so they were squidgy, but as I said earlier nobody seemed to care as long as you were carrying only one bag.
