I am afraid they do operate like that. I booked a flight with them to Seville for late April. First they moved the flight from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening and then removed the flight for that particular day (Wednesday) and moved us to the Thursday flight. At that point I got so fed up with being messed around I cancelled the booking and got my money back.

Well my flight is the start of may but i was kind of thinking this maybe happen to me, if it does hopefully they will let me know, i still haven't received their email to let me know the change of flights, so it makes you wonder what they will do next.

They are usually quite good at emailing people if they change flight times, but if it's not till May perhaps they haven't quite got round to it yet. Most often they email people about 2-4 weeks before the flight.

Thanks for your reply, i never thought of that maybe because its nearly 7 weeks away,good job i checked though as i had to get my lift rearranged, will keep an eye on it incase it changes again;)

Have you checked the flight no: is the same. Could be possible that they have put on another flight

Hi there , yes its the same flight number i checked that first of all when i noticed on friday that the times have changed, it just looks like the times have been brought forward, also flight times coming back on the following friday have been changed from around 7 at night to 11 in the morning, i know this as originally i was going to book return with ryanair, going out on the monday and coming back on the friday, but decided to go with thomas cook coming back as it worked out cheaper and their flight time meant we can stay in tenerife all of friday as flight leaves at midnight, so ryanair must have changed flight times on a few days to tenerife and not only on a monday.;)

I am having nighmare I willg et to airport tomorrow and they will say our handlugage is to bog :eek:

One 16" case which is fine
One holdall that although dimensions are bigger than allowed it will only be half full can can be squashed up if you know what I mean.
One 18" case measurements 50cmx35cmx20cm
One 18" case which is 51cmx36cmx18cm.....I measured this one and although says 18cm this is main case and with pockets is about 25cm?

Am I worrying over nothing ? Do they check them ? The cases will not be full so plently of give to press them to make them smaller if need be on th side that matters.

The most they'll do is ask you to put them in the metal bin things they have for that purpose. If you're worried just make sure you turn up before ordinary check-in closes (40 mins before departure), put them yourself in the bin in the check-in hall, and if they're miles out go to the desk and pay the fee to check them in. Seriously, there's no need to panic!

if we had to do this will it ONLY be the cost of one checked bag ? they won't then ask us to pay for airport checkin as well ?

Sorry for the questions never travelled with handluggage only before lol

Don't worry - what's this forum for if not asking questions?!

Anyway, I'm not 100% sure but I think they just charge the bag fee and not an extra one for using the airport. (The fee to register a bag at an airport is €20 or local currency equivalent.) Obviously make sure you check in online anyway, in case the bag is ok to begin with.
