WHat happens if you are going away for more than 15 days? You'll have to find an internet cafe where you can print off your boarding cards. I only booked 2 ays ago for the summer but I wasn't given the option of online checkin with checked bags.

the fee for airport check-in will double to £20/€20 per person/per flight at the time of booking.

web check-in fee of £5/€5 per person, per flight will apply to all new bookings

    But- no fuel surcharges !!!!!

Why does anyone fly with this bunch of sharks ?

The reason, is cost. I know everyone has their horror stories, and their own reasons for chosing alternatives, but I have flown 11 return flights in the past 4 months between Stansted and Glasgow Prestwick, paying less than £60 in total for all 11 flights, and for an A-B service they have done their job.

The cheapest Easyjet flight is around £45 for 1 return flight.

    For me it's a no brainer.

But you can only keep doing this if Ryanair finds enough suckers to pay all its extortionate fees and charges. Soon it will become an airline that most people will only be willing to fly with for fares less than the cost of Airport Passenger Duty and 'it's a no brainer' that this will end in tears. Treating customers with contempt and having to expand rapidly in the middle of a recession because of its contract with Boeing is not a successful business model.

Do they still make their staff, including pilots, buy their own uniforms? Nuff said?

So from the 1st of May me using web checkin and no bags will have to pay £5 (except maybe on promotional flights)

I wasn't expecting to read that. I thought Ryanair usually have to have an option to not pay any fees e.g i don't pay card fees as i use electron, don't pay bag fees as i don't take a bag and I don't pay check-in fees as I use web checkin.

I wonder if they will allow me to checkin by post instead for no fee? lol

You put your details in, select a flight, select any optional services..... you get the price at the bottom of the screen, if you like the price you press buy, if you don't you go somewhere else....... simple.

If you don't fly Ryanair and don't like Ryanair then why do you read and post on these threads ????

For me, the ability to customise my trip with the ability to turn up straight at passport control is fab. If £1 to use to toilet means a 50p flight price reduction then so be it.... bring it on ;)

Anyone else having problems with the Ryanair website?

I can get the homepage, but can't get any prices on flights, check in online etc.

It's gonna be fun when check in online is the only option, and the websites down!!!

    EDIT: Seems ok again now.
