Bib would have helped :rotfl: . If you put the washing machine on with just the t-shirt and a small amount of bleach with the 1/4 or 1/2 the normal washing liquid/powder it should come out.
This is complicated by the printed design on the shirt. I think washing with bleach will ruin this.
Can i just dip the affected area in bleach?I know nothing - really!!0 -

Try soaking a cotton bud in bleach and gently dabbing the stain. Only leave it five or ten minutes before washing otherwise the bleach will rot the fabric.0

Hi Gustav,
There's an earlier thread with more ideas that may help so I'll add your thread to it later to keep the suggestions together:

Turmeric is used as a dye, but it isn't "fast" in sunlight. Therefore, I'd wash it out as best you can, then hang the garment in sunlight. It may take more than one go, mind you.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

I have done something silly. I have a nice pair of linen cream trousers that I have had quite a while now but really like them. The silly thing I did was to wear them to a girly night out at a great Indian restaurant.
You can probably put the rest of it together!!!!
I have two decent stains on the trousers that I have tried vanish on it as I had it under the sink. It didn't do much! The trousers say dry clean only but I am not sure if they will be able to do anything. It doesn't seem worth putting them in, paying the charge for them to return them saying that they can't get out the stain.
I thought that someone would have a tip. I am not holding out much hope because it looks pretty settled in but I know that you are clever bods so I am still with hope.
I wanted to wear them to a christening next month but lets see what anyone can come up with.I have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat - Rebecca West

Dry-cleaning linen? I've never heard of that before, must be because the risk of shrinkage as it's one of the most durable materials. I'd try the Vanish again but leave it on for a while. I've also heard that a paste of water and baking soda works.0

Chances are if you have tried stain remover and dried the trousers and the stain is still there then you've had it. Sorry but in my experience if a stain is still there after the first attempt then its there for good. I hope someone has some good ideas.........
I know my mum out of desperation tried a dish power cleaner on a pair of cream trousers she got tomato baby food on and it worked but I am not advising you do that (also hers were machine washable)Emma
