Curry stain removal help?

I just had a curry stain on my favourite pale coloured t shirt and tried vanish stain remover and a wash with vanish powder added - no luck and twice through the washing machine. Then I checked here and tried a paste made with vanish left to sit on the stain then washed as normal and hey presto completely gone! First two attempts faded the stain but it was still clearly visible - now I can't even tell where the stain was. No need to buy extra things you only use once in a while - if you tend to have vanish in the house as I do anyway!0

I just tried the methylated spirits on the curry stain I had on my white vest shirt and then put it in the sunshine. There is hardly any mark there. I havent washed it yet, but there is only a very small spot there now. Actually works. Thanks for the tip.0
