Thank you all for the suggestions and others for the honesty. They are not pure linen and have a lining. i can't quite remember what is the exact mix but did have a dress like this once and looked at the label, thought pah to the dry cleaning description and the lining and main material did different things - not a good idea.

Will try all of the suggestions but could really do with the strong sunshine - not looking good this week!!

Thanks again. If it is the end of the road for them they had a good innnings and the night out was also good - RIP!

I have a sweatshirt with a (number of) stain I suspect from Sainsbury hot and spicy chicken.
Any idea how to get them out?

As a side note also have blackish mould on the lower part of the rubber seal to my front loading washing machine - can't seem to remove it.

I use green fairy liquid for grease stain removal, put a little squirt on each stain and rub in leave for about 15 minutes then wash in the machine as normal

I got curry on my yellow top and it bleached out in sunlight.

Is it all white - i hesitate to say it but if all else fails and it's ruined shove it in bleach.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

You need to try sunlight first. It should work

i would try and lift the stain with a mixture of fairy liquid and Ace bleach mixed together on the dry sheet and leave for about 20 minutesa

I then would wash in a machine with bilogical washing powder, a capful of ace and a small squirt of fairy liquid, dry it outside as the last of the stain should bleach out in the sun

If there is a remaining stain I would repeat again, have got curry stains out of clothes in this way so should work on a duvet cover

Just to add a lighter touch. There's no chance of saving the curry. Sorry I read it that way at first.
