The only FACT you've given is an estate agent who wants potential customers to see that HIS agency is selling houses.....so even if only an offer had been made could have put it up as SSTC.....just like the house I veiwed today...which I was told had been SSTC but he was still willing to show me....and when I pointed out I have a large deposit just so happen to say that the FTBuyer had had his 95% mortgage refused just this morning.

your a complete twxt, you come on here saying first time buyers are not back and then your are there looking yourself, if a house comes up that you think is a bargain will you buy it at the right price????

Troll, come on Geoff Cheshire is down 13% average, yes i'm from this area as you are.
As for falling prices yes i've benefitted, just agreed on second property in York.

Back on topic it aint all that bad and yes people do still sell and buy houses.

ess0 why the risk....read about the latecomers in 29. i could go out and buy 20 BTL if i wished but i just think the risk is too great and will be for the next few years.. if you read my posts you will realize the last crash wiped me out and i will never ever risk that again but happily i have retired at 40 and dont have to take any more risks.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

First of all confused...don't act all hard sat behind your keyboard because its not big and not cleaver and you really aren't impressing anyone (well maybe your alter ego)

and seeing as I never went away how can I be back?? I've been looking for the past 2 years.....and will continue to look till I want to buy.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right

so why view then?? who said you went away i never did.

I think you will be alright buying in july, but its typical you say first time buyers are not back and there you are out viewing.

you have a short memory i remember having a discussion with you before last year and you made the statement about offering so much for a house to a estate agent.

you need to get a life today you have been going round new bulids and viewed another house and your not even n a position to buy, i personally think you telling porkie pies.

How do you know they are FTB? it could have been a BTL

And all you have shown is that people are putting offers in.....which has never not been disputed

I went to a new build estate today and a BTL had bought 15 of the 25 houses that are currently "released".....doesn't mean FTB's are back

    Oh and I'm a FTBuyer

for someone who thinks some first time buyers are not back, who has themselves goes round viewing houses all day you must have a very boring life or you are looking to buy yourself.

We dont even let people view are house unless they are first time buyers with a mortgage garantee, or someone who has had a offer on their house, im surprised you get so many viewings when you are not even in a position to buy.
