    I think everyone has acknowledged that. The OP was just pointing out there is an increase in activity and it seems to be everywhere and not only at ftb level. Of course, all those offers could collapse, but the point made was that interest has perked up.

    There is still a lot of pressure being put on uneducated first time buyers to buy. even at the height of he last crash their were people who did not have a clue on whats going on..
    people who rely on the uneducated buyer to fall for their con trick are a powerful body and spend millions of pounds a year to gloss over the truth ,,of course their are people who are buying now. i welcome that as without them we would not have the drops we have had or the further drops that are coming..
    remember the head of all the banks has said he expects another 30% OFF AVERAGE house prices..

    a swallow does not make a summer...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
    Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
    If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
    If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
    If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
  • Sorry I'm obviously missing something...how do you know that these houses have been SSTC to FTBs???
