J D Wetherspoons- missing tomatoes!

JD Wetherspoons are always running out of food. Just a few weeks ago I helped out a friend of mine who happens to work in one of their kitchens, by driving them to the local Sainsburys and clearing out their stocks of mushrooms, tomatoes, sauauges, frozen chips, burger buns and gods knows what else. They were asked to do this by the pub / kitchen manager knowing full well that my friend doesn't even drive!!!.
I didn't even get a free meal as a way of thanks from the management when i reversed my car for the stuff to be off loaded.0 -

Why did you bother taking doing it then?
Hope your car insurance covers this sort of use of your car;)0 -

I did it for a mate! and was only a one off.
Regarding the car insurance, it would have been my weekly shopping.
But this does show the sort of managers that Wetherspoons employ.0 -

Ah, Llandudno, cable car and tram. Mes and Mrs Freddie love the area and Conwy. Just remember about a fantastic chinese a few years back. Excellent food, and Mrs Freddie to boot. Went to pay and they sent me to the take away. Having stood there for about an age, they could not find my bill.
Still, never been back either, to the chinese that is.
Freddie, you know I love you really
Ill have the address of that Chinese next time I head up that way though! lol0 -

Alas, the memory is now fading slightly, just remember Freda in the old Hillman Limp (or similar) flooring it the wrong way down a one way street to get out of the place.
Or was it the worst car I ever bought, the SEAT.0 -
