If tomatoes weren't on the delivery for some reason (possibly snow) then the staff wouldn't have been allowed to source them elsewhere. Common practise at most low priced food outlets where prices margins are very tight. Certainly not an issue exclusive to Wetherspoons.
I worked for Wetherspoons in the past and despite some customers been lovely -they win the prize as far as I am concerned for having the rudest most pig ignorent occassional customers (the regulars weren't generaly like that).
Not the best company to work for certainly but I worked in several of their pubs getting exactly the flexible family friendly hours I wanted so not all badI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0
