  • i got an email off them yesterday saying that my 3rd claim had been verified and would be with me within 25 days (bullsh*t), which suggests they ARE still active. The website still appears active too, and has undergone changes which suggests to me that they arn't folding. However its impossible to get through to them by phone and they didnt even reply to the court summons I issued (i have requested that the court enter judgment), so its possible that they are going under. who knows!

    Hi all

I started legal action against Mobile Rainbow in order to get the cashback amount owed for the full duration of my contract on the grounds that twice before I have had to issue legal proceedings to get cashback following their breach of contract, and want one lump sum to avoid the inconvenience of issuing legal action for each seperate installment.

Anyhow, I would really appreciate the case numbers and if possible any details of the case in question (ie how late MB made payment and whether it was a repeated offence) from people who have taken these cowboys to court and won. This is needed for me to help prove that they repeatedly breach contract terms.

    Thanks in advance

    Good call Tab.

I could do with these also, whilst in the midst of ensuing a case. If they are posted on here great, if you get any if you could send to me and i'll do vice versa.

Given them final chance to pay remainder of contract by Friday otherwise off goes Allocation Questionnaire, and bring on the court.

  • Hi Guys,

I've now had enough of being messed about waiting for MSOLS "technical difficulties to be rectified" for me to get my cashback and have decided to sue via MCOL. I'm just wondering if anyone could help me with a few details for the claim form...

I've just completed 12mths (contract finished jan2008) with NONE of my cashback having been paid!!!

I'm suing for the entire amount with in this case is £480... how do i work out the interest that is owed? (£240 first cash back)

Do I just take the 1st cash back amount and work out interest rate at 8% for 5mths?

Also, do i sue MSOLS or Mobile rainbow?

Have just phoned Mobile Rainbow and spoken to CS who assure me there are no problems with receiving cashback from them. I told them about this site and they said they had not kept anybody waiting for their money. Has anyone had a genuinely real problem and not received their cashback or are we just talking about late redmption vouchers here. If cashback was'nt received how liable would 3 be with honouring this offer or allowing you to cancel ?

WARNING. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS RETAILER. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS RECEIVING MY CASH BACK. I HAVE CONTACTED 3 AND THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED. CONTACTED CONSUMER DIRECT AND THEY ARE NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM MOBILE RAINBOW. IF YOU SUCCEED IN CONTACTING THE RETAILER ABOUT YOUR CASH BACK THEY GIVE YOU ALL THE EXCUSES ON WHY ITS DELAYED AND THEY PROMISE IT WILL BE WITH YOU IN 14 DAYS. THIS IS A LIE, I HAVE BEEN WAITING SIX MONTHS.
  • Well, there's a surprise! Lol!
  • Hi, I purchased a mobile from Mobile Rainbow back in February, 2007. I have sent 3 Cash back claims and due to sent my last this month. I have received no money. I have contacted Mobile Rainbow by e-mail and telephone who have confirmed my cash back have been verified and I will receive the money. I sent them a letter on 10th December saying if they did not pay me within 14 days, i would taking legal action, but still no money. I telephoned them on Monday and surprisingly got through straight away but just got fobbed off again. They said I would have my money in the next 25 working days!! I have now filed a court claim against them which cost me 35 pounds, as they owe me 480 pounds.

i too have filed a claim against mobile rainbow as they owe me for 1 cashback payment of £104. I have however filed for the whole amount of the contract (£420) as they are now in breach of the contract. Anyone know where i stand on this?
