Afternoon peeps
Diva - fantastic news :j :j :j i`m so pleased.
Well we are back from a rather long walk, the sun is out and it`s lovely, very warm in fact and the snow on the trees and the house roofs is starting to thaw, no sign of it thawing on the ground though. Some of the footpaths were awful as some of the children have been sledging along them  the fields are stunningly beautiful and it really lifted my spirits. The houndies are both flaked out after playing with some other houndies whilst we were out, the young monster helped me clear the path by barking and trying to bite the spade and then running non stop around the garden like a lunatic
Monster cat is sat in the bay window watching everything with interest, she has only been out for 5 minutes in the last few days and then she just sat on the back step and came straight back in as soon as i opened the door.
I`m having a lovely cuppa to warm up and then i shall get cracking in the kitchen for the afternoon.
Keep warm folks.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

Went out and did the animals as normal, fed and watered all 16 of them...and then walked the dogs in my wellies because of the snow...halfway down the main road, realised that I was still in my dressing gown and PJ's with wellies on!!!
Normally it wouldnt bother me but today the roads are so icy and slushy that everyone is travelling really slowly.....

Afternoon all,
Have finally had to admit to myself that I think my depression is worsening...am tired all the time and sleep about 14 hours any night if I don't need to get up early next morning....not sure what to do, am still on meds at half strength, think I need to go back on full strength, can't see doctor until Monday so might see how I go until then....maybe just need to give myself a kick in the arras and get on with things, but the fact that I have no reason to be depressed doesn't mean that I can't be IYKWIM!
Hugs to MSD and Tristan...wonderful news
Csarina....trust that you have now repaid that huge overpayment! Hope that you get rid of toothache soon, agree that it may be sinusitis....first time I had sinusitis I went to dentist as thought it was toothache.
Very cold here to-day, heat is on and open fire in living room, snow is still all around, mostly slushy and unpleasant.
Sybil...are you all right...don't seem to have 'seen' you for a couple of days?
Hugs to all in need or want, try to keep warm and safe

Afternoon all!
Back from my tour of the local banks! Some things just can't be done over the internet sadly! Anyway all done and found some extra money as well, whoopee, well about £50, but every little helps right!
Went into Poundland to have a nose, got dd3 some High School Musical socks, 5 diff designs, £1 a go, what a bargain, she's going to be so so happy in a minute when she gets home - oh to be 7 years old! LOL
Found the Abba the Musical book in there too, dd1 was trying to persuade me to buy it for her the other day in Waterstones or Smiths, so I'm going to get brownie points for that as well! Got dd2 some headphones for school with tiny ear buds, apparently they now should all have their own, and the school wanted to charge me £3.50 I think, yeah right, since she'll probably lose a pair every other week! Treated ds to some body spray at 2 for £1, teenage boys seem to use a lot of smelly stuff compared to when I was younger, still better than smelling I guess!
OS I've put on the chicken New Yorker, after fending off the cats whilst I wrapped it in bacon, had to throw them out in the end, they were going demented! And I made myself a chilli, feeling achey and tired, so think I might have another cold coming, thought a blast of something hot would help!
More catching up to do once dd has had her cuppa xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
