Best and Worst place you have been to?

Best has to be Cyprus we got married there and I felt the people and the place were lovely and would love to return one day with our son.
I have never returned from a holiday and hated it, I always enjoy spending time with my family out of the norm 9-5 routine and especially savour the better weather.0 -
Best :- Cuba -Casa Particular, not AI. Tiblisi
Worst :- Palma Majorca- I found out where all the Glaswegian Sun readers go!0 -
Best-
Berlin
Montreal
Venice
Worst-
Reykjavik
Sousse
Vienna0 -
Best
Tokyo - A human zoo! Wicked!
Vegas - Sort of like a human zoo - except it's more like a different planet.
Bay Area - Great place to just chill out and do nothing, although there's plenty of stuff to do as well.
Zakynthos - Even better place to sit around and do nothing. Never have I seen such a blue sea before... or was that azure?
Worst
Lhasa, Tibet - Dusty, grotty, smelly (it's that candle wax they use in the temples). Altitude sickness didn't help much either. Only saving grace was the skewered lamb sold on the street stalls.
Somewhere in Hainan, China - Got stuck in this backwater village (for work) between Haikou and Sanya. Can't even find the place on google maps! Ugh! At least the sheets were clean.
Naples - Dark, dank, crappy food. Pompei wasn't really that hot either, and neither were the druggies shooting up heroin outside the hotel.0 -
Best
Mallorca, Lanzarote, Rome, Florence, Florida apart from Orlando
Krakow, Barcelona, Vallencia for long weekends
Worst
Tenerife, Gran Canaria. Tacky and hassle
Venice, Milan overpriced and not much to see
Malta like going back in time0 -

Best - Trip to Rockies, Vancouver, Fowey, Cognac, Florida
Worst - Visit to Tenerife in December - death by time share sales!
Actually most hols are great - just to be away with family/people you love is fab!:T0 -
I loved malta but I was expecting it to be built up so it was no surprise. We did an archaeological tour, which was fantastic, so much ancient history. Lovely, English speaking people and no ripoff prices also easy to get around by bus
We also loved sicily and its ancient temples and wonderful ice creams and hilltop atmospheric villages
We like Madeira, very safe, lovely people and a nice temperature
I disliked parts of Italy and the anti British attitude in a few hotels. Also a bit scary in some towns and I saw a woman being mugged in florence as well as a man in Rome, surrounded by gypsy beggars0 -
Places that met or exceeded my expectations:
Venice, Rome, Florence, Prague, Paris, San Fran, Key West, Annecy, Amsterdam, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Savannah, Newcastle, Bath, Edinburgh, Hamburg, Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Athens, Turin, Vienna, Munich, Dinan, Barcelona, Salzburg, New Orleans, Victoria BC, Seattle, Weymouth, Oxford, Freiburg, Cannes
Places that didn't (doesn't mean I hated them all, but maybe I was expecting too much):
New York, Boston, Naples, Berlin, Grenoble, Manchester, Liverpool,0
