Derby is a great place to visit: Lovely historic buildings and quirky individual shops/restaurants around the Cathedral Quarter, loads of great Art Deco architecture, the Peak District right on the doorstep....OK the town planners may have made a bit of a hash of the Westfield Centre and Riverlights project (still nowhere near completion:hence no bus station, plus ongoing traffic chaos) but it's a great destination for a mini break.:D0 -
Best: Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand
Worst: Florida, Vienna, Chicago (relatively speaking - I have not been anywhere on hoilday I really disliked)
I think I would go back to anywhere that scored over 40 and would recommend anywhere with 50+ points.

Best - Barbados/New York/Paris

Best: Las Vegas
Worst: Larnaca Cyprus, what a pit!The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Best-Nile Cruise, but an adult only holiday and not suitable for youngsters. Make sure you have all the trips included in the price
Worst-Bulgaria about 6 years ago. We booked a hotel allocated on arrival for 2 adults and 3 youngsters. Got into an ex-Communist concrete complex which was awful on the Black Sea. We were all ill and the rooms were horrible!!!0 -
