  • Best: Antigua, gorgeous island, fantastic friendly people and great weather
Worst: Gavres in Brittany, France. Week with in-laws in a rented house, in a village where nothing existed apart from a take away pizza place which was never open and it rained constantly....need I say more?

  • i love this thread!

Best: Love the Greek isles.....not the 'all day English brekkie' resorts though thank you. Tenby, Pembrokeshire......only because I have such good memeories as a child!

Worst: Coventy...didn't go for a holiday but training..it really is grey.
Gambia....although not a horrid holiday the hassle from the 'bumsters' was just too oppressive and we only got a fraction of what some got. Also, ate Africn food and it really wasn't our thing.

I agree, we stayed at the Arion Bay on Kamari Beach, it really made the holiday. Not too expensive either.

I always stay in Kamari in the Kafouros just a simple family hotel but the family are like mine now lol. Arion Bay always looks lovely when I stroll past. Cant wait for June :T

I've never had a bad holiday but places that stand out as the best are:

Cannes, Corfu (not touristy areas though), London, Morzine in France for skiing, Barbados.

I wasn't keen on Gran Canaria - was very commercial and built up
Everything will be ok in the end, if everything's not ok then it's not the end :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Best: Port Douglas, Big Sur/Monterey, Gorgeous scenery in both places though nothing can beat the Barrier Reef.

Worst - has to be Magaluf!!!

Worst Airport - Heraklion - nasty smelly dirty airport - we don't visit the East end of Crete now as that airport services that end of the island!
