Did you venture up to Lido and out of the square?
I found Venice to be an amazing place. In almost every sense of the word.0 -

I was there for 4 days and i admit, there were times it was tourist central, the people stood outside the restaurants trying to get you inside were a real pain. But when we went off the beaten path we found a whole diferent place. Lido was fantastic, walking along the tiny streets at night was amazing - getting busted by the police in a boat because i was sunbathing on someones jetty was a classic.
I can understand how someone wouldn't enjoy it, but if you get the chance go again and do things differently.0 -
Best - the Maldives (Meedhupparu) - would go again in a heartbeat if only we still had any money lol - what a tragedy it will be if these islands disappear under the ocean
Worst - never really been anywhere I hated per se, although I got bored in Munich (and had a terrible hangover  )They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Worst ~ Salou0 -
I've really enjoyed everywhere I have ever been, which includes Rome, although I've met a lot of people outside this forum who didn't like it.
My least favourite was probably a stopover in Kuala Lumpar.0
