  • Not much to see in Venice! What sort of thing were you hoping to see?
After Rome and Florence I found Venice to be a big disappointment.

Did you venture up to Lido and out of the square?

I found Venice to be an amazing place. In almost every sense of the word.

I was there for 4 days and i admit, there were times it was tourist central, the people stood outside the restaurants trying to get you inside were a real pain. But when we went off the beaten path we found a whole diferent place. Lido was fantastic, walking along the tiny streets at night was amazing - getting busted by the police in a boat because i was sunbathing on someones jetty was a classic.

I can understand how someone wouldn't enjoy it, but if you get the chance go again and do things differently.

Best - the Maldives (Meedhupparu) - would go again in a heartbeat if only we still had any money lol - what a tragedy it will be if these islands disappear under the ocean

Worst - never really been anywhere I hated per se, although I got bored in Munich (and had a terrible hangover  )

Best = Sydney, Cuba (unique, nowhere like it)

Worst = Andorra de la velle - freezing AM, baking PM, boring, overpriced, Ibiza

Was thinking of going to Los Cristianos and Rome - maybe not!;)

Maldives have got to be one of the best places I have been, and Turkey is definitley the worst.

Best ~ Port el Kantoui - Tunisia

    Worst ~ Salou
  • I've really enjoyed everywhere I have ever been, which includes Rome, although I've met a lot of people outside this forum who didn't like it.

My least favourite was probably a stopover in Kuala Lumpar.
