I've got some in my trolley and one in a pocket of each of my coats for those times when I don't take the trolley. Unpacking shopping is always the first thing I do when I get home to put any cold stuff into the fridge etc and the bag goes straight back into my pocket.

Well I got a whole weeks worth of shopping in mine today - lamb chops, mince, beans, potatoes, peas, bread, butter, spreads etc, , 12 loo-rolls, cleaning products & the Sunday Times!! - Trying to get loads of shopping in one go as I spend less then - £29 for a week for 3 of us!!

Also a lady at one of the checkouts stopped to ask me where I'd got it as she wanted one - lol

I let Danny(5) haul it into town as it keeps him amused - Zach(10) walks waaaaaay in front - dissassociating himself from it!!

My two always fight over who's going to pull it along. They think it's great as they don't need to carry their schoolbags etc and usual school stuff/gym kit etc etc.

CQ, I think there are trolleys with telescopic handles, like some suitcases have, one of those should fit into the boot of the car easily. I'll see if I can remember where I saw them :search: .

icon7.gif Smiley_Mum I decided which one I'm gonna get. It has to be the cow print one BUT... that bag will not match my frame so....... icon11.gifI'm ordering a whole new trolley. :silenced:
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Well I got a whole weeks worth of shopping in mine today - lamb chops, mince, beans, potatoes,!!

i bought a 7.5kg bag of potatoes (king edwards for only £2.09!!! :T ) from lidl the other day and managed to get that, plus the rest of my shopping including eggs, a huge loaf of polish bread and books from the charity shop in my trolley no problems!

i did have to take everything out so i could put the potatoes in first but that was alright. before the trolly i wouldn't have bought the potatoes if dh wasn't with me to carry them, i was so happy i didn't have to pass up my favourite potatoes this time though!

my dd 4.5, loves my trolley too. i tried to use a £10 vertbaudet voucher to get her a child size one for a pittance but they were sold out... other mse'ers?;)

Racy Red,

I bet you can't wait to get your fab new trolley, hope you'll be in to catch the mail when it arrives. Just a tip, you probably do this anyway but tuck in the toggle tie etc inside, don't leave it hanging on the outside. It is good that it is wipe clean, so no need to dismantle to wash etc but B****Y seagulls the other day took a dislike to my trolley and cr@pped all over it, so out with the Zoflora to clean it up. Dirty so and sos. Supposed to be good luck...

Seagulls cr@pped on your trolley? My lunch is all over the screen now 1-aa7.gif

Now I have a vision of flocks of adolescent seagulls roaming the countryside searching out fresian cows to !!!!!! on, or cow print trolleys if they cannot find the real thing. Do pigeons do the same thing?

Sorry, shouldn't laugh, hope the Zoflora was effective and you get double the luck icon7.gif

Smiley I will not leave you alone in feeling daft :) I took my trolley into town today and lost control of it as I tried to open a door and wheel my trolley at the same time, it hit the deck complete with contents.

An old lady bent to pick it up for me:o

Cleaned up fine but I'm always wary of hovering seagulls.

Was out today with it and got loads of comments from people. One lady even took a note of the website address, gave her MSE too so she could pick one up as her son is nearly out of his buggy and she wants a trendy trolley to take her shopping home in as she doesn't have a car or drive etc. Same as myself.

I wouldn't be without mine now and it's nice to get so many comments on it when you are out too.

Racy Red,

Did you get hold of a cow print trolley then or are you undecided still?

Handy that you have the store down there, means you don't have to wait several days for it to be mailed, lucky you!!! :-)

Moggins,

Hope you didn't do yourself an injury when you lost control of your trolley. No breakables, was there? Mine was pretty loaded up today and always have to be canny going up and down the kerbs if there are no low sections or it'll cope over. I'm a bit like my avatar when I'm shopping. :-)
