If you are bagging a chic shopper for the first time, I'll just say you won't regret it. Advantages to chic shoppers...
- no more back ache and orangutang arms syndrome.
- no more chiropractor fees.
- able to bag the bulky offers at the supermarket.
- all your shopping is kept dry.
- you get home quick with your shopping instead of struggling home.
- if you go for a super funky print one then you'll get loads of nice comments from people.
- the one I got holds a LOT of stuff.
I can't think of any disadvantages really. Since the kids are now older and out of buggies etc, I don't have a car/licence etc having a chic shopper had been a great help and I wish I got one years ago. For anyone swithering about getting one, don't. Go and get one, your back, neck and arms will certainly thank you for it. One more thing... you'll be eligible to become a member of the OS Chic Shoppers club too.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Mine was pretty loaded up today and always have to be canny going up and down the kerbs if there are no low sections or it'll cope over. I'm a bit like my avatar when I'm shopping. :-)
that is the only complaint i have about my trolley... i have turned my wrist many a time because i took the trolley down a kerb too fast!
it's not too bad when it's empty but with a full load it really hurts!
up the kerb on the other side it fine, it's just going down that's a problem but like smiley said, as long as you're careful it won't twist round... still, don't always remember... i think those incidents are why dd has suddenly picked up the word 'Sh*t!' quite clearly (and with a pained overtone):rotfl:

Love them? Can I please ask how many of you have actually bought a Rolser trolley?
I'm only asking because I'm a little concerned in actually placing an order with them. They don't have a secure website and the only payment facilities are via Paypal or to post a cheque!
Normally I'd run a mile from a company like this and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, so I'm wondering what experiences people have had with them before deciding whether to risk placing an order"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

I'm on the verge of buying one but then it struck me that most of you seem to use them so you can walk to the local shops/supermarket, therefore you can just wheel them home again and unpack in the kitchen. I have visions of me getting back to the car, fully laden with meat/veggies etc, and then not being able to lift it into the boot :rotfl: ... and standing there unpacking it in the middle of a busy carpark possibly wouldn't be an option
I haven't got one (yet) but I was thinking that possibly if you didn't have anyone else in the car you could either push front passenger seat forward or back and stand the trolley on the car floor. Or you could stand it on a seat and fasten it in with the seat belt.
What do you trolley experts think, would that work?
Also condidering getting one to keep all my sewing stuff together, thought sewing machine on bottom and various bags of stuff on top, as opposed to my current 'system' of sewing machine, 'somewhere', various bags of stuff 'somewhere else' all over the house.
What do you think? all you trolley dollies. :think:0 -

Yes, I've been thinking along those lines too, and also, as I have a 5 door hatchback I could possibly fold one of the back seats down and sort of slide the trolley in via one of the rear doors, which I think might be easier than attempting to lift it in via the boot, if that makes sense LOL!
The chances are that I'd have one of the boys with me if out shopping anyway (not brave enough to go alone yet) so they could put it in the car for me ... assuming of course they'd even be seen dead out shopping with me with a trolley :rotfl:

Curry Queen,
I ordered from Rolser Novela and had no problems at all. I ordered the trolley through the site and didn't actually place the payment details on the site email. They send you a link later with a secure link on it, Paypal so no problems. Payment went through and didn't have any trouble at all. You could always give them a call to place the order if you are still a bit apprehensive. The chap that I spoke to was very helpful, I'm sure if you gave them a call they could sort something out. I didn't have any trouble though at all.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
Love them?Cheers hun :A
I was a little reticent to go any further than the address details page so didn't realise they processed payment details separately. Thanks for the reassurance"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Love them? You can always give them a quick call, you could phone it through and then they will send on the payment info separately. Mr Smallman was very helpful when I called about the cow print trolley etc.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot.
