For the people who voted that they hate them in the Poll, was that after you saw the funky new types with the fancy prints or before. Has your attituded changed about them since seeing this thread and are you coming round to the idea of getting yourself one to save your back, arms and neck etc? Just curious. I'd been after one but hadn't seen one I liked but now I've got my cow print one, I'm never without it. Just about to take it "sledging", loads of snow here so don't how it will fare trundling it through it. :-)

I'm trying to buy an Andersen shopper for my mother for attaching to her bike (don't ask!!). Their web site is very static with no obvious links. Have emailed them twice for any info on distributors in UK but no reply.
Anyone know if there are any retailers in UK??

    Thanks

Thanks, Holsale, I'd better reconsider my sewing kit transport. I have a very heavy ancient machine.

Alison, Robert Dyas do fold up square boxes on wheels, they appear to be very sturdy and come out in force for the flower shows in summer. They might be ideal for your sewing kit.

I have heard a rumour that Top Shop do shopping trolleys! Off to investigate!

I know this is a silly question, but can I just ask how people manage to get a fully loaded trolley into a car please? :o

I'm on the verge of buying one but then it struck me that most of you seem to use them so you can walk to the local shops/supermarket, therefore you can just wheel them home again and unpack in the kitchen. I have visions of me getting back to the car, fully laden with meat/veggies etc, and then not being able to lift it into the boot :rotfl: ... and standing there unpacking it in the middle of a busy carpark possibly wouldn't be an option :o

CQ, the French company, Mastrad (click on Ranges in the blue bar then "outside" on the bottom bar when the site loads) do a couple of "insulated backpack" tolleys in 2 sizes, the blurb for the larger one says
    shopping trolley

    large size (And Small Size)

The trolley you’ve been dreaming of so shopping becomes a pleasure! Fully insulated and with a large capacity (50 litres), here at last is a trolley that’s big enough to take all your shopping! The removable bag will turn into a freezer bag for picnics on the beach, while the trolley will turn into a 35 kg hand truck.Foldable for storage in the boot or a cupboard, it can be made small until the next outing. A bit of shopping? A picnic? The mini insulated backpack trolley will be your companion

Trouble is the site says the same for both the large and small sizes  Maybe it is just the frame that is different?

OH owed me some money for ebay parcels from last month so I got him to pick me one up from Argos as he was going there for a new watch. He nearly had a heartattack when he got it as he couldn't fit it in the boot of the car and wondered how big it was! This is the one I got here

As soon as he got home I unpacked it BUT the box had been re-sealed and one of the wheels wasn't in packaging. I've pulled it all out (kept the packaging) and fitted the wheels but they're loose as in they don't clip on or anything is this right? I'm a little uncertain about using it as I'd be soooooo embarrased if I was going along and the wheel came of the thing :o:o:o:o:o:o If it's the design then fair enough but if its faulty then I want a new one!

Ignore my last post....turns out I didn't have the knack :o OH had a look at it yesterday and managed to get the wheels to clip on. Sometimes it's handy having a man around the house...only sometimes though :rotfl:
