    Yes Di,
Thanks for your response. Yes the account is settled and has been through the FOS. Was half expecting Black Horse to pull a fast one anyway and didn't really think that they would co-operate! Will get on the phone to the FOS Tomorrow! How could they possibly miss that out in their calculatons of my refund, especially as the FOS had made told them in the settlement letter what I would be entitled to.
I am not giving in to them though!!!!!! xxx

I will keep my fingers crossed for you, please let us know how you get on, cheers.;):beer:XX

Hi Soontobesensible, so you've finally had a letter from BH, i'm still waiting and think i am a week behind you so will expect the same unhelpful letter you have received. Let me know what FOS say when you ring them as i expect i will have to ring them too. Good luck. SUFC

    Hi again folks :)

I posted last week about progress on my claim - RBS had been in touch to ask for more information just as the 8 weeks was about to run out. I sent the information off to them on Thursday or Friday and was surprised to get their response this morning!

The letter basically pointed out that I had no case etc etc, which I was expecting; what I wasn't expecting was a 'goodwill gesture' of £750. So, do I take the safe money now OR press on with the next stage? I think i'm leaning towards the latter at the moment but wondered what you guys would make of it :)

    Hello there people,

This is my 1st ever post so it's a pleasure to be here and I hope you can offer me advice.

In relation to this poster's comments and question I received the same goodwill gesture from the Royal Bank of Scotland for £750 but in my case it totals £1500 as I was claiming for 2 seperate loans taken out in 2003 & 2006.

As the original poster asked, do I take the safe option Or press on?

I would like to hear from anyone who had the same offer and what did you do?

    Thanking you in advance

    Hi there

    And welcome.

The amount of £750 is the standard offer.

Personally if it were me I would push it for further, its entirely up to you, good luck.;)

You're very welcome and I agree, it does help to know someone else is going through the same thing. I often look at the successes just to give me a bit of hope and to see that some people are successful in their claims!! They say patience is a virtue..........

    Hi Ellbee,

Just wondered if you have heard any-thing yet from FOS?

I have emailled the Adjudicator who dealt with my case again to ask if he could give me an estimated time for obmbudsman to look at my case... that was last week... Still no reply. think he is fed-up with my pestering...lol.

Think I better give him a break for a while..

    Jules:rotfl::confused::confused::rolleyes:
I have 2 PPI claims all being dealt with by FOS could do with a win. I also have 1 PPI claim with FSCS because company gone bankrupt.
I have claim for bank charges on-hold for 3year

    Good-luck all

Been with barclaycard since late 1997, since the media have bought PPI to my attention I have found that I have got PPI on my Barclaycard.

As its been so long do I have a chance to claim mis-sold PPI?

at the time of taking the card I was 18, at my parents with no need for PPI but its been sitting there for years now I have looked back at some statements.

I have since been in hospital and have not used the PPI as I was unaware of it! and had many other loans, credit card mortgage etc and have never taken out PPI on any product as I dont need it.

Do i have a case?? I feel robbed looking back at my statements and a fresh faced 18 year old many years ago was a easy target back then.

    Need some advice please
