If the FOS can now look at any PPI claims do you think those that have previously been turned away should re apply?

Just rung the FOS and the man I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about!! As far as he knew if it wasnt in the FOS jurisdiction it was still no go ?
So if anyone gets any clarification or a name of someone who has said this that would be good.

    Hi Pinknico

I was thinking the same as you, if this is the case then the ones that have been turned away should be able to resubmit their complaints.

I am still waiting for an email, wanted to see it in "black and white" to be sure.

I will post up when I do receive the email (if I do get one lol).;)XXX

    Hi everyone,

My friend has contacted MBNA about her complaint. They say they have received it and will get back to her by the 26th of June.

I have told her not to build her hopes up as this could go on for ages but it is good news that the FOS may be able to look at it for her.

    Heres wishing her luck

    Hiya Showergirl

Wishing your mate luck as well, and with a mate like yourself, she will not go far wrong.;)XX

    Hiya Pammie

    How are you?

Not too sure how this works with an IVA, but isn't it a set payment you pay off a month for this that you signed for?

Don't quote on me, but maybe if you did receive compensation, it can be arranged if you wanted to pay something towards the IVA, but I would check on the other thread to ask about this, and maybe post to the CCCS on the link here below who should be able to answer this one for you.;)

    Hi Di,

If you look at claims not covered by the FOS Natalie has posted that she spoke to someone on Friday who told her they would look at all claims.

It would be nice to have it in black and white though.

Hope you have a good day, I am off to work now but will try to pop on this evening

    Hi Pammie

Is there a website for IVA that gives information if there was extra money, maybe they take some but not all if you know what I mean.

If I see anything I will post up for you.;)X

iva rules= you can keep 10% over your income (wages),then they take about 50% of what is left over. so i dont do any overtime at work, because of this.
i think any claims that go though, will go to the creditor to lower the balance.

there is an iva foram on this site.

i didn' relise how much help and advise i could get though 1 web site!!!:T
