    Afternoon,
    Had a response from Crap 1, stating, that when my wife took out the credit card over the phone she was given the option to listen to the PPI cover and what was covered etc, they are saying because she actually listened to the blurb, that they are not goint to refund her PPI payments, any ideas?
    hi sparky, pinknico is right, you go for it, just because you listened to a voice telling you about ppi does not mean you were made aware of the full ins and outs. we are just mere mortals not ppi experts we rely on banks to be honest with us, and that i am afraid is where we all fell flat on our faces

    iva rules= you can keep 10% over your income (wages),then they take about 50% of what is left over. so i dont do any overtime at work, because of this.
    i think any claims that go though, will go to the creditor to lower the balance.

    there is an iva foram on this site.

    i didn' relise how much help and advise i could get though 1 web site!!!:T
    so if you win 1000 for arguments sake. you can keep 10% that is 100, then they take 50% of the remaining 950 that will be 450, can you then keep 450? thats what i would think, i could be totally wrong so dont build your hopes up, but it may be right

    Hi Sparky

    Cheeky beggars. If they have not got the recording off the conversation they do not know what was said. I have won back PPI on credit card with A and L (MBNA) and they said the same but FOS said no not good enough.

    Hope you carry on with this Good Luck

    no. from what i gather, it's 10% more of my wages i.e- if i earn £100 then i keep £10 of the claim, and then 50% of the rest.
    so==claim is 1000, i get 510.
    confused! so im i, its something like that:confused:
