hi all
i have just had a thought, if capitol 1 and ocean finance, pay back my claim, where would they put the money? my cap 1 acc is closed and so is my bank acc.
cap 1 was paid through barclays acc and o/f was paid though lloyds acc,(both are closed as both in iva).

any help please!

Hi, Just wondered if anyone could help? We had an unsecured personal loan taken out in may 2005 we settled this early in Jan 06. We also had a car finance started in september 04 settled early in Jan 06. both these accounts was with Black Horse both had ppi added. Is it too late to claim back the ppi on these accounts as we feel they were mis-sold. Any help/advice really appreciated

Its not too late, of course you can still try to reclaim.

Follow the guidelines on the link below to reclaim.
There are template letters, write your own reasons for being mis sold, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.

You may have the opportunity to write back if they do not resolve this in your favour in the first response.
In the final letter they should give details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) if eligible.


Good luck and post by recorded delivery, and ask for help when required.;)

Direct auto finance stated that as they were not authorised by the fsa in 2000 and 2004 then i cannot complain to FOS i have written a second letter - but are they correct in what they say on this ?

Natalie6999 contacted the FOS on Friday and was told that they were now able to look at all claims for ppi. I would contact them and ask them for advice. The number is 0845 080 1800.

Hi everyone,

My friend has contacted MBNA about her complaint. They say they have received it and will get back to her by the 26th of June.

I have told her not to build her hopes up as this could go on for ages but it is good news that the FOS may be able to look at it for her.

Heres wishing her luck

hi pammie, i would have thought they would pay this by cheque to you, i dont know much about iva but could it possibly be taken off that? , i am sure someone will be along who will know more about this and will help you
