Thanks for advice.
I did accept but told them I wasn't happy with their offer. They didn't include the 8% interest which I asked them to do. I'm going to try the FOS.

Not to happy today. Finally after many months and FOS intervention got a letter from Black Horse saying that they would only be paying me the premiums paid + interest and £200 compensation. No mention of the actual PPI loan.
Help, what should I do now?0 -

Hi hun
So this is being dealt with by the FOS or directly to BH?
Sorry if I have mis read on this.:o
Is this still active or a settled account?
If still active they should repay all you have paid in PPI premiums and the interest, here is the link to what Maxdp posted in regards of the FOS calculations:

If the finance is settled they should repay back every bit of PPI and the interest etc, see what you can make out on the above thread, and if you feel anything is amiss let the FOS know, if this is being dealt with through them, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi everyone,
I think this site is amazing. Not sure if I am posting my question correctly, so apologies if I have added it to the wrong thread.
Basically i sent a letter to ge money re a debenhams account i used to have. i asked to reclaim bck the ppi, the reply i recd was that the sales adviser had advised me correctly and that i had agreed. i then wrote back asking for all the calls sent to me. however, they said that they do not have this and that they cant deal with my complaint and i should go to the fos. however, how can they say that they had listened to the call if they do not have the calls going back that far. My questions therefore is, should i write back to them or indeed just go straight to the FOs.
Any help would be greatfully received.
thanks again, regards

Hiya Ashley
Welcome and your in the correct place.;)
They have slipped up there haven't they?
I would take this to the FOS now, and also tell the FOS about the recorded calls to back your case, as they did state they listened and yet they cannot supply them to you.
However, I would also ring them (GE money) to ask them or a quick note and again tell them your aware they have listened and if this is the case why can't they supply the recordings to you.
Tell them you will consider contacting the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) who may even help you out by contacting them for you.
ICO here:
https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx
In regards of the FOS, you can either download and print or ring them to arrange to send you the form through the post, remember to enclose copies of correspondonce within your claim form, good luck and post up for help when required.;)

Yes Di,
Thanks for your response. Yes the account is settled and has been through the FOS. Was half expecting Black Horse to pull a fast one anyway and didn't really think that they would co-operate! Will get on the phone to the FOS Tomorrow! How could they possibly miss that out in their calculatons of my refund, especially as the FOS had made told them in the settlement letter what I would be entitled to.
I am not giving in to them though!!!!!! xxx0
