Hi,
I have 3 claims against Egg currently been judged by the adjudicator. I sent them in originally back in May08, and the adjudicator finally got passed them, and has now had them for 6 weeks.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the adjudicator to make a decision?
Many thanks0 -

Hi there
As soon as they are passed on to the adjudicator, it can be a matter of only weeks, its just a matter of the adjudicator having all the information from both yourself and EGG, they look at both sides and make a decision on the complaint, so with a bit of luck you should hear anytime.
Give them a ring or email, ask for an update, good luck and please keep us posted.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hello did you send in all 3 complaints on 3 seperate forms or all on one form? If they are looking at all 3 at once this may be why it has taken a while.
I sent in two complaints but at seperate times.DS1 12/10/04

I have told my friend not to build her hopes up as she may have to go to the FOS, but we should get there in the end0 -

Hi there
How long ago did you take this out, what year?
Was it a telephone sale?
If you purchased the policy the last 6 years they should still hold your information, its down to them to check this out, and in my opinion they are using a stalling tactic.
You could request a Subject Access Request if you've not done so with these yet.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

If you've not requested a SAR yet, here below is the link to the template letter, they have 40 days to comply, but there is a charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this request, sometimes useful information can found within the SAR which may help your case, good luck.

So you have already sent them the first reclaim letter then I take it?
And they want you to supply them with further information in order for them to consider? Such as proof of the sale of the policy.
I would write back and tell them, they should still hold your details on microfiche/data and if they don't resolve your matter you will however move this on to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I have already done this and sent them copies of the agreement, I sent them a second letter yesterday by special delivery only to receive a nasty call saying that i havent proved that the salesman was pusy or that he forced me into the agreement. I recorded their call as well and have sent them another letter. Was this the right thing to do? How do i prove the salesman was pushy?0
