PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

JennyJenJen wrote: »Hi Everyone
Hoping for some help if possible from those in the know please!!
I made a PPI complaint to Egg about 3 loans (each one paid off by consolidation with the next) eventually ending up with
Loan amount £20k
PPI £4088 (have left the figs at work but this is close)
Monthly Installment £366.44 (again pence is approximate, its definitely £366)
APR 6.73%
Term 84 months starting 6/6/6
Took a payment holiday of 3 months in June, July and August 07 so the loan is now due to finish September 2013.
I am coming up to 8 weeks with Egg so gave them a call today to see where they are up to and was told that they had contacted Moorgate (who they have sold my loan to - not a debt collection thing, just their sale of loan business) to request the interest figures on my current loan. I asked whether this meant it had been upheld and she said she assumed so as they wouldnt need the interest figures otherwise. Which does make sense but is obviously not official confirmation! Got my fingers crossed to hear something positive soon!
On the basis of the above info, can anyone give me an approximation of how much I am likely to get back please? Am happy not to take the first 2 into consideration (and they were both internet apps I think so may be rejected) and to go on the approximate figs above as anyhting else will be a brilliant bonus!
Thank you
Niggly will be along to help you soon im sure jenny as he is fab with figures
Good luck xx 0 -

Hi Guys...:) Congratulations to all winners today!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Just an update:
Well, i rang clydesdale this morning & spoke to Gina who stated that although i had loans dating from 1998, they could only deal with the most recent loan i had taken out which was in 2004 & paid off in 2005??
I asked why, and she stated they could only go back to 2004 - i asked if i could SAR it (as she didnt mention it) and she stated i could but it would then have to start as a brand new claim....:(...so i have asked for the address & am going to post of a SAR off tonight..Is this right ?? that they can do this - i thought if they were dealing with one loan they had to deal with them all...Please help
:( xx
Glad the call went okay(ish). go for it with the other claim. Give em hell.

Bit confused, just had another call from oh saying letter from hsbc is at home. I told him to open it as I suspected it my credit card offer
The letter is another offer for my 6 loans and this time includes my credit offer as well.
I have already sent my acceptance for my loans
Anyone else had two offer letters? I know some would appreciate having one!
Suppose I will send this acceptance off as well, love it if they paid this and the first one lol
confused about this
started a separate thread on it, any advice or thoughts would be great
