Hello everyone,

After my knock back from First Plus I posted the fabulous letter, written with plenty of help from you all, on Tuesday. It was signed for yesterday morning. Do you think it's too early to email the CEO or not?

Hang fire with CEO until you get a reply from FP.
If they knock you back again,then you have more info and ammunition
to send him.
Wait 7 days,and then ring FP and ask what is happening,if they say get lost,then send the e mail.

Hi i have just had an offer from first plus for 18k!!!!! sent one letter which i found on this forum back in May, had numerous replies back saying they will contact us in x amounts of weeks. i just let it run it's course and finally had offer last week. the only problem is they say we will receive cheque in 8 weeks!!!!! has anyone had this before and should i chase them to get MY money quicker? or am i being a bit impatient? thanks

From what I've read on here the times are all different depending on which banks, might just be another waiting game, at least you know it will be on it's way :T

Yeah I know, only claimed for one loan but they automatically settled on another loan which i had forgotten about. :j I just know i have that money there which could be in my bank account and not theirs. maybe i am being a bit impatient.

Mine isn't as easy as everybody elses looks, just my luck though. I had PPI through car company, i wrote to them with my questionaire filled in, had letter back, saying they are looking into it, and will get back intouch with me by the 15th August. Well todays post has been and gone, and i've not heard anything from them.
Can someone please tell me what if any my next step is, if any.
