Are the working out figures correct as I only Had account numbers and they said they didnt have any paperwork as it was to far back 2001 2003 and 2004 so I sent a consumer questionnaire for each account number I had.

I had sent my acceptance form back on monday this week but in the letter it says However to conclude this matter for you as quickly as possible ,we now do not rquire this form to be returned by you. This means that unless you contact us to tell us that you want to reject our offer, the amount set out in our offer will be paid to you.
Just a case of waiting happy days lol

Hi, we recieved a letter from Santander offering us a refund of just over 4k on a loan my boyfriend took out years ago. I had no idea that the PPI miss selling had affected us untill I looked into it more, and now I realise that he was miss sold PPI on 2 credit cards. I want to try and reclaim the money for him, but the accounts are in arrears, and he is making an agreed minimum payment currently. Obviously any money that he can reclaim (if any) would pay off the balance, but will they consider a PPI refund when the account is in arrears?
Logically I think they should, as the main cause of the arrears is due to the PPI payments, but they dont always work logically!
Would it be worth mentioning that we want to pay all arrears and settle the balance with any payment? or is this not necessary? thanks
    £100 - £10,000
  • Hi. Sorry about this...I know this has been posted before (but do you think I can find it!). Can anyone give me a contact email for complaints to Santander. I have already emailed through their online system(twice) and wrote to them in July but have never received a reply. I don't want to do anything over the phone, so an actual email would be great.

    Thanks very much.

Hi miamoo, yes still claim if you have the reasons for ebing mis-sold and have the card numbers then heck yes go for it. The sooner the better too, all they will do is pay off any arrears with any redress they make, but thats a good thing. Anything left over should be returned to him.
    Hope this helps:D
Thanks to all the competition posters.

Have you got a complaint registered or acknowledged with them at the moment or are you trying to lodge a complaint of mis-selling with them?
