    Morning all.

Short one today so ((((hugs)) to all that need and want

Congratulations to bargainbird. Spike..Hmmm..I like it, in fact..I like it a lot :D

Moggins I am so sorry to hear that, you come first though and you have got to do what is right for you.

Diva I hope you are ok, thoughts and prayers always with you

I havent had the chance top prpoperly read through the rest of yesterday's thread so I probably have missed so much. I am being so ditzy at the moment, thought I was taking 3 pork steaks out of the freezer the other day, I took 6 out instead:o It will be pork in a cream and muchroom sauce tonight I guess. I'm just so tired atm and finding it so hard to concentrate. Will blitz the hall tonight when I go home and then make dinner. EDoesn't sound a lot but it is a 3 yard square hall with a long passage leading off. I also have a floor to ceiling bookcase along one wall which is overflowing   Books just don't get parted with in our house:o

    Have a great day all

Bargainbird awww, he's gorgeous. Congratulations and well done.

I've been missing due to plumbing problems (the house, not mine personally). Never buy a house with lead pipes. It's taken the best part of a day and a half to sort it out. It was very stressfull, especially as it is still just over 3 weeks until dh comes home. When we pulled the carpet up outside the cellar, there were four layers of floor covering. We have just left the lino from the ark there, and skipped the rest. The plumbers (yes, it took more than one) found newspapers from 1967 under the bath!

OS wise, I am going to make some cherry scones and some orange muffins, before I take the boy to Tumbletots. It is our free trial session this week. It's his idea to go, not mine, so I hope he likes it.

(((Hugs))) to everyone that needs one, and congratulations to all those expecting new arrivals. I do like little babies.

Candygirl I had a scan at 32 weeks due to problems. They told me ds would be about 6lbs born. He actually arrived 3 weeks early weighing 7lb 10.5oz!

MSD Thinking of you and Tristan

    Take care all of you

    Good morning everyone.

    Congratulations, Bargainbird.

Sorry you are having a tough time, Moggins.

I am off today - hurray. Now I can catch up on everythng at home. I have Ds's assembly then I am having coffee with a friend. I will pick up the fruit and veg on the way home. I have a lot of ironing to do but I think I will do it in the afternoon. I have course work to catchup on, I have a tutorial tomorrow. Tonihgt I may be eating alone because OH is going out and all the boys are at friends, etc. I had a really good sleep last night so I have plenty of energy today. I should manage to fit some baking in.

  • Morning Guys!

I'm home....abit sore but ok. Hope everyone is well and I havent missed anything too important:confused: Thanks for all the well wishes.

I have a little dilemma (sp) and wondered if someone could give me advice. I couldnt make it to a close family members birthday in Dec as I was too ill to travel....they live 5hrs away. She has cancer and is very ill. My mum was VERY upset with me as as I couldnt make it but it really wasnt my fault. She told me I was selfish blah blah blah.....anyway, I managed to book 2 nights at the Travelodge at £9per night for next week, but I havent told my mum that we are going. I have other family members there but TBH, I dont want to see any of them except this particular person. I have tried to contact this person to ask if its ok to pop by as I dont want her feeling she has to spend loads of time with us....I just want to show her i DO care and will take some flowers and chocs etc. I am seeing my mum this weekend...do I tell her we are going. I havent had a reply back yet from this person, so she may even be away....should I ask mum and tell her what our plans are. TBH, im still not good but she hasnt long left and she is far worse than me. If we are able to see her the same day we travel, we will only spend 1 night as that really is all we are going for, but dont want her to think that IYSWIM.

    Thanks guys.
