I am a new customer and decided to go for this offer. I received an email the other night saying "they could not complete the order until got some further details from me" and asked me to phone them.

I did this and of course, faced a 15 minute wait when I gave up the will to live and hung up. Anyone else had a similar email and had to call them? I don't see why I should have to hold on the phone at my expense when I want to spend £26 a month with them:mad:

The order process for the vouchers is on the day that you order the sky, not the day you have it installed. You then have to wait 28 days after the date of install to receive the vouchers. hth

Sorry no advice re best hd boxes.

We ordered in my wife's name, and were offered dates from March1st (handy as my subscription ends on 28th feb!). Its true that new customers get the better deal - that's why we changed from me to the wife, and in 13 months, we'll swap back, as I'll be eligible for new customer.

Hi, do you have to have the direct debit from different accounts every time you change? thanx

  • Yippee! Despite receiving an email last week to say I could expect up to a 4 month wait to get my hd+ box installed, i get an email today from sky asking me to select a date for installation! Getting it installed next Saturday!!

That's reassuring. I signed up on Wednesday and was told it was a three month wait. Hopefully it will be a lot less than that.
  • Had my HD+ and multiroom installation earlier today, nice neat job complete with a new Samsung HD box.

First taste of HD sports was the England collapso in Jamaica:( picture quality is a delight though on my Panasonic lcd.

Worth noting that as part of the HD package you get the HD channels for National Geographic, Discovery, History Channel etc even if you did not have the SD equivalent.
