  • Hi,

Have just clicked through quidco but cant find anything about the £50 in m and s vouchers!?

Also I am out of contract so if I cancel will my husband be classed as a new customer? (sky is currently in my name)

    Thanks
  • yes you could cancel, but you would need to wait until your account cancels completely as you cant have 2 active accounts at the same address. Then your husband can take up a new cust offer, i think you will find that if you look throught the sky.com website its now the same price for existing customers & new customers for Hd & Sky+ the only difference is the install fee & possibly an offer on the viewing package

There is now 31 HD channels on Sky. HTH
You can't be lost if you don't know where you're going.

I move into a new property in April, but wondered if, due to the waiting list I could order sky HD now, and if I get an early installation date, can I stall it?

Also can someone confirm if this is the correct procedure please?
    1. my friend recommends me (£50 m&s each) and I get the email invitation
    2. I log into to quidco then through to sky for the £100
    3. I order sky HD and multi room for £49

Also, how do I get the other offers, ie: Free HD and Sky world for a month, 6 months line rental half price if you take Sky Talk, and I believe you can also get 6 months free sky talk unlimited. (any other deals gratefully received!!!)

Thanks for all the help on this thread.

    Hi Vix 2000,

I have just taken out this deal (thank you to the OP!) and when you complete online, it allows you to choose the date in the calendar. So there should be no reason why you couldn't pick a date in April.

I have been quite fortunate and been able to get mine installed on 16th Feb, have made a saving of £35 a month against what I was paying with Virgin :j

You dont have to wait, ive been doing this for the past 3 years and each time had no problems, get wife to ring up and take up offer then next day cancell your current subscription, following year i would ring up and next day wife would cancell :D

i might be wrong but i think this is if you are a new customer,
exsisting customers are on a waiting list, new customers get priority....
i ordered mine but not in a rush, so i am happy to wait. and at least i might not get a reconditioned box as all the new customers might have taken them:rotfl:

We ordered in my wife's name, and were offered dates from March1st (handy as my subscription ends on 28th feb!). Its true that new customers get the better deal - that's why we changed from me to the wife, and in 13 months, we'll swap back, as I'll be eligible for new customer.

  • Well this is a total farce!

We are 2 families that live in one house, Mum & Dad got Sky HD back in October last year, we have applied for the special offer and have been told that we already have a Sky HD at this address!! So, we cant have another at the offer price!

Not a happy bunny really as we dont have it, Mum & Dad have it and we got a new HD TV for Xmas as well!

Just to make people aware of this thats all and have a moan as well!

You can have two HD boxes at the same address. Ask your mum & dad to apply for multiroom.
