    Morning all

Very quiet here this morning. Had the night from hell last night, with cats fighting, cats bringing in live things, smoke alarm battery decided to make that "oooh my battery is running low beeeeeep beep", pins and needles in my shoulder, indigestion, both DDs having nightmares...it just went on and on....was glad to get up.

Working today, 2 little ones to amuse - baking, painting and tent making today.

    Brekkie - Toast
    Lunch - Wraps
Dinner - Beef stew and dumplings (one I get chance to get it in the SC)

Must dash - have a good one all.

    Morning All

Finished work for the week and I'm off next week which is just fab :smileyhea . Getting right back into being OS. WM on, BM will go on later. Making Sheppard pie for tea and one for the freezer. Other job for the day is to defrost the fridgefreezer in the house as somebody left the door open a tiny bit.

Off to toddler group this morning and this afternoon I'm babysitting niece for abit and then grandma is looking after DD and niece and I'm going to the have my hair done by SIL as part of her training course. God know what it will look like as I've just told her to do what she needs to to pass the course  . She has MS and is doing the course so she can come off benefits and want to pass it ASAP so she can start work part time from home.

Good Morning one & all, hope you're all feeling bright eyed & bushy tailed! I'm up early this morning, OH is full of cold so it was a riveting Valentine's night for me! ;)
Working from home today, finally got my email working yesterday after getting stroppy with the non-helpdesk. I've been working silly hours for the last couple of weeks, so need to catch up with a few jobs around the house.

Dinner tonight is chilli con carne, so the mince is out of the freezer defrosting & the kidney beans are soaking.

    Have a lovely day

    Morning, it is quiet today!

I hope that there are not too many like me, suffering from "the lurgy". It struck in the middle of the night and I have just had to abandon an attempt to get to work. Not good as I have loads of work I need to do icon9.gif.

If I am stuck at home then a good tidy through of my papers might be in order! The heaps I organised them into last time need re-organising icon11.gif.

Have a nice day and hugs to all icon7.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Good morning all!

Lovely sunny day in Birmingham (at the moment anyway!)

DS1 on half term so busy trying to think of things to amuse him! DS2 will go to nursery a bit later.

Haven't done anything yet - spending far too much time on here!! Need to get both DSs dressed, put on a load (or 3) of washing, empty the DW and do a general tidy up. Have got cleaning that also needs doing - may do this later this afternoon.

Am doing macaroni cheese for tea (sorry - Brummie term for 'dinner') tonight, with garlic bread. DS1's favourite!!

Will probably take DS1 to the park on his bike later this morning and then let him watch a DVD after lunch.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

  • Hiya one and all :hello:

I want some sleep :( Been asleep no more than an hour when DS2 woke with a raging ear-ache, so I've been up since 1 with him. Mr TM said useful things like 'yes, I heard him' I said equally useful things like 'well, that was when he was in our room, at 5am. I'd been up with him for FOUR hours by the time you were disturbed' :D Anyway, true to form, he's been calpoled and nurofened up and is now bright as a button. I, however, am sat here in me dressing gown, contemplating making a second :cuppa:

It's a lovely bright day here at the moment. It poured last night, so was that the storm passing or do we have lots more to come? Missed all the weather forecasts on the tv.

Oooh - talking of tv - I'm missing Martin on Channel 5..

Off to lounge in bed while I watch it. Catch ya later
