When washing machine finishes will put bedding on the line - made a huge pot of soup in the slow cooker.

If DH gets home early enough to give me a lift may pick up my new glasses.

Cancelled 4 direct debits for magazine subs that had free goodies for subscribing.

While on phone to bank to do this converted the guy on the phone to this site. Lol.

I think he was supposed to persuade me! So he sounded a little confused but pleased with the idea of the site.

Hope everything goes really well for your sister funky fairy :)

I'm doing very well today actually DID the IRONING!!! Another load in WM and one load to hang out, one to bring in and I'll have a new ironing pile in about 10 minutes time. :wall: Feel like I'm stuck in a laudry ground hog day! :rotfl:

Just thought I'd pop on here to catch up with how eveyones day is going and then I'm turning off the pc again and we are going to go for our walk (after hanging out washing of course). Still need to tidy up front room as DH has a business meeting with the other partners this evening and of course I'm still on a mission with the dinning room, still I can crack on with these after I've tired out munch with our good long walk...might try and find my pedometer thingy before we go.

Have a good rest of the day peeps. ;)

Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day :heart2:
Kids stop today for half term, have to go and collect DS from school in a while - might walk as it is a lovely bright day here. Its nice to look out at but cold and windy once you are out. Managed to get a load of washing dried on the line. Finished the duvet covers off in the TD to avoid the ironing - which I hate LOL
This afternoon will be spend tidying up & running the hoover over the place. Bathroom already cleaned and floors were mopped last night while kids were in bath. DS has swimming lessons laterso that takes a bit of time to-ing and fro-ing. Made OH bday cake at the weekend and its in freezer, just needs to defrost and decorate on Friday. Its Best Friends Bday too, so think i might make her one later tonight as I will be going to see her at the weekend.

    B: (hours ago) Porridge
    L:Pasta
D: Baked spud (or quorn chilli if I have time to make it)

Have a good day (whats left of it)

Good luck to the expectant aunt! Its always lovely to hear of new arrivals - gives me shivers!

    Afternoon everyone.

A rotten start to the day for me when some maniac tried to break the windows of my car at the traffic lights with me and the kids in it.

Luckily the day got better when I got to Tesco after dropping the kids off with their grandparents and found the Tesco milk chocolate choc ices reduced to 50p a pack and pork (Cumberland and Lincolnshire flavour) grill steaks also reduced to 50p. 4 loaves of bread reduced to 30p each and my leg of lamb for free because they overcharged me (£6.28 per kilo instead of £5.99) so a lovely whole leg of lamb for tea tonight courtesy of Mr T :D

No it was deliberate, he came over and started screaming that my son was staring at him :( My son has AS and has a rather steady gaze when he's looking at something, it can be very unnerving I suppose but there was no need to start hammering the hell out of my windows because of it :(

  • Our Valentine's evening was deliberately low-key, but relaxing. I gave OH a box of Thornton's fudge and nearly got told off because he thought we weren't doing Valentine's gifts. I had to persuade him it was because he sounded 'down' on the phone and the 14th was a coincidence - which is true but it took a little work.

We watched Doctor Who all evening :)

Working from home today, combined with massive cleaning frenzy - I need to get the damp & limescale sorted in the bathroom to make sure we get most of the deposit back when we move out next month. 4 or 5 days until I get the keys to our first house - it's going so slowly!
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!
  • Hey FunkyFairy - good luck - is this your first Auntie stint

Moggins - hope you and the kids are okay - it must have been very frightening for you all

You can hardly hear yourself think in the office - there is hailtstones bouncing off the roof and the windows .

Better go and get some work done

    Have a lovely afternoon all
