Not been a really OS day today. Went in to town and went to boots and spent no money even though I have £5 gift voucher burning a hole in my pocket. And need to have some points put on my card.
Last night was ok. But did not sleep well (not what you think) just to hot.
Got a few bargains in sainsburys now I have sort of worked out when they reduce to clear.
Well just had a huge screaming row with husband that ended with me throwing a glass with a bit of OJ in at the wall. Is smashed all over the floor. He asked me if I wanted him to clean it up. I just told him to get out of my sight before I did some damage to him. And he has now left the building. No idea where he has gone but he can't go far as he does not have much fuel and he does not know anyone around here.
I have no idea why I let him wind me up. But I do and all this because I asked him to do something easy like pay a credit card bill off. Which when he turned his computer off he has still not paid. I am like !!!!!! I asked you to do that over 20 mins ago. I know he has to phone the bank about something in between. But he makes me
I am not violent person I am very quiet and shy but he does bring out the rage in me. I would never hurt him. But he just makes me go wild. And now I have a steaming headache as well.
Suppose I better go and clear all this glass up. Ho Hum. Think tea will be a nice tub of ice cream all to myself.

Hi Yall, another busy, productive day under my belt. WOW we are being so industrious this half term. We only spend Christmas and Feb half term at home so it's all hands to the plough, as well as the usual daily grind we have so far:
MISS MATHLETT'S ROOM
Cleared out all she doesn't want. Re-organized and collated all her stuff
Cleared out all winter clothes that are shabby or getting too small.
Sorted out all 'waiting to grow into' summer stuff. Washed and ironed it.
Pulled out all her furniture and vacced in places the sun don't shine.
Washed all her fluffy rugs.
MINI MATHLETT'S ROOM
Cleared out all broken toys and one he doesn't want anymore.
Chucked out all clothes with rips 'n' holes.
Sorted a charity bag off stuff too small.
Found, washed and ironed some bigger winter stuff to tide him over till spring.
Sorted all 'waiting to grown into' summer stuff. Washed and ironed it.
Washed his favourite teddy.
Pulled out all furniture and vacced within an inch of our lives.
Found a big tin for all his leggo with we've collected from all 4 corners.
MAXI MATHLETT'S ROOM
Tidied all his cupboards (he's a regular chucker outer like me)
Stored all too small clothes for Mini MATHLETT.
Sorted 'waiting to grow into' and last years summer stuff. Washed and ironed.
Pulled out all furniture and cleaned to a deep shine. LOL
Put up some more picture hooks for girlfriend's picture and other oddments.
AIRING CUPBOARD
Emptied and everything put back in. I couldn't bear to throw much away. LOL Did part with some threadbare terry nappies.
VIDEO/DVD/CD CUPBOARD
Mathletts are currently working on this as I type. (I think I can hear a heated debate on the merits of keeping Chitty Chity Bangbang. LOL
OTHER STUFF
I've flicked through all my sheet music but again can't bear to throw much away. The tune to the Hovis ad which I've got duplicated is about all I've chucked. I really need to bring my piano down from me mum's cos I promised I would move it (10 years ago LOL) but I can't fit it anywhere without selling my organ (musical - not a kidney or owt. hehehehe)
TOMORROW
Plan to get the MATHLETT'S working on the library (box room with pretentions) and maybe a spring clean of the pc delete some junk and stuff. Tidy up the office, shred some old accounts and archive some just passed stuff.
Catch yall tomorrow

Hope you sort it out with OH and it's :kisses3: later0 -
Calley - sorry to hear you had a row with your man. I hope you kiss and make up :kisses3: Men can sometimes drive you to distraction (Math & Squeaky excluded of course!) Mine's just gone to the gym in a huff because I forgot to order eggs with the shopping that was delivered today!!! Why doesn't he do the bl***y shopping because he would never forget anything grrrr.
Anyway a bit of space will probably do us both good!!Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
If you hear the sound of a distant choir - that'll be my feet singing to me.
Took DS to an indoor playground today, accompanied by his "best love girl" and her little brother. Two insipid cups of tea later - and best part of £10 including admission - two hours have gone and we're rounding them up to take home. "Best love girl" can't cope with dogs .. we have one huge black greyhound and a mad little saluki. Cue LOTS of screaming and hysterics at the front door, while dogs alternately joyously greet the new people and worry about why one of them is screaming at a pitch likely to cut sheet steel. Dogs settle down and child runs up to DS's bedroom, so peace is restored for a while. Lunchtime brings both dogs out of hiding, to investigate sandwiches. "Best love girl" goes into hyper hysterics, requiring me to use Voice of God (which cut through the screaming, believe it or not) and in best Dr Tanya Byrom fashion, we had a "reward the positive/ ignore the negative" period of exposure to her fear, through which she actually did very well. Enough was enough and I shut the dogs in the bedroom after that - we'd done well to get away without shattered eardrums, up until then.
Got the BM on (a white version of Mummy Bread, which looks extremely promising and smelled fantastic), got the pork casserole in the SC (using a piece of pork tenderloin which was a yellow sticker job and cooked out really nicely) with my first go at dried, soaked butter beans. We've just finished dinner and the butter beans went down well with both DS and DH, so I call that a result!
Got to pedal a bit hard, in a minute, to catch up with laundry and dishes as we're out tomorrow at swimming. I don't swim, can't stand it, but DS wants me to come and see how he's progressed since last summer. Can't turn down the opportunity for a bit of over-the-top praise, now could I? :happyhear
Oh, by the way - yesterday, when DH and DS disappeared into town to rectify the Valentine's imbalance, DH came back with a ropelight in the form of 40 little red hearts. Its now adorning the shelves beside our bed, where I keep my fuzzy Unicorn and other bits of girlie paraphernalia. I love it, even if it does make our room resemble something of a bordello. Wahaay!! :kisses2:
Good luck to the aunt-to-be, all Mums with poorly offspring and hugs to people who have suffered the whims of crazy people today. Here's to a better one tomorrow!:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
Thank everyone, DH sent me into town for a pair of boots that don't hurt my feet and DD1 came with me
First time I've seen her in nearly 2 weeks. I now have 2 pairs of boots and a pair of slippers to cure DS's smelly indoor feet problem and I feel much better now. £25 for the 3 pairs so I am very impressed. Also raided the charity shops and got some lovely stuff for everyone else and a handbag for me
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Not sure about the second bit though :rotfl: He has come back but has not said a word yet to me.

Valentines went so well till about 10pm... surprised OH with a meal... half way through he asks can he use my house phone to ring his friend.. im like "yeah but why?" and he says he thought we'd be "doing nothing" so hed arranged to go out with his best mate ( ) so would now have to cancel..... Finish the meal and move into the livin room with the bottle of wine.... i ask to watch a film but he insists on sitting in the dark listening to a CD... great.. except im knackered from running round all day (id got up about 7:30am after about 3 hours sleep and cleaned house etc... he stayed in bed - in my house - till gone midday!) Sooooo i end up falling asleep on his shoulder... he wakes me up to say hes just gonna use the phone... next thing i vaguely remember he coming back in the room and then hearing the front door slam but i was 3/4 asleep... anyway i wake up this morning on the sofa.. covered in a duvet... BUT both radio and TV still on... heating blazing.. sit up and kick over a glass of wine that had been left on the floor... so hed had enough thing to go up and get a duvet but NOT to turn anything off ( orto move the glasses of wine)!!! Cant u tell he lives at home with his mum so doesnt pay bills?!!!
Anyway i ring him and we end up having a blazing row cos apparently in my sleepiness as he was leaving i said "you care more about Craig than me.." so now hes not talking to me.... fact is i feel like that cos since we got back together this mate has been with us 75% of the time and virtually always mentioned when we PLAN to do something.. and OH seems to be in his house more than mine etc!! Its seriously like they cant be parted for more than 24 hours!!Starting to feel like theres 3 people in the relationship!! OH is saying its cos they are sorting scouts stuff... (Craig is the other leader in our group besides me and OH) BUT the point is they keep sorting things and having "scout talks" and leaving me out!!!! Sometimes i think they forget im there...
Anyway sorry to babble but basically ive been sulking all day cos somehow i feel like its all MY fault and that im a cr*p girflfriend.. and that being single was so much easier and less stressful.
On the OS front ive tried to clean up but given up.. tip - dont try and be romantic by decorating your table cloth with confetti hearts, they end up all over the house :heart2:  HAVE however baked jam tarts with the remaining pastry from last nights apple pie.... and made a thick wintery soup with some veggies that needed using up!!
Breakfast was: Big bar of choccy + leftover apple pie with cornish icecream
Lunch was: Leftover Lasagne + more choccy
Snacks: Junk junk and more junk.
Tea will be: Leftover salad with a jacket potato (an attempt to make up for comfort eating day)0 -
Well DD and grandchildren have gone having demolished 1 large shepherds pie, carrots and peas, I large oranges in jelly with ice-cream 1 carton of orange juice, thnak god for Tesco's value juice.... and a carrot cake........me I am cream crackered, OH has a meeting, think I am going to spend the evening on the sofa infront of the TV.
The children watched TV whilst their mother and I surfed the internet looking for a deal for them to go to London for a couple of days......OH has discovered a new solitaire on the laptop, so spent the afternonn playing that.
Not much os really, I did manage a quick trip to the market, a bag of spuds, carrots, onions, leeks, cauli, broccolli, a stalk of brussels plus a dozen eggs £7.20........
Living in the sunny? Midlands, where the pork pies come from:

There must be something in the air today -I 've had a blazing row with OH too
