Good luck Mrs Math - the more of us that hope and wish for it, the better.
I seem to have done something to my back, so i'm sat like a rake and stink of deep heat. A hot bath hasn't took it off. I'm hoping going to bed will ease it for tomorrow.0 -
Hello and a big happy
St Valentine's Day to everyone:smileyhea:smileyhea:smileyhea:heart:
However if you are footloose and fancy free like myself, wait until tomorrow to get your roses, chocolates and soft toys cos they will be half price. I stocked up last year on teddy bears for Christmas and birthdays through the year. And who wants to share a box of choccies anyway??
My two naughty kitties have worked out that to open my bedroom door they have to jump on the handle and pull it down. They are now kipping on my bed. They do so like their luxury.
So, today I am supposed to be walking to work. OMG what was I thinking when I said THAT!?!!! It's a bit wet here, and I am not walking in my uniform in the rain! Not a good idea to squish it into a bag either, it's supposed to make us look smart, not look like Worzel Gummidge! I will have to get my butt into gear when I get home. At least I can walk in my ordinary clothes if it's wet. Just wish I had some wipers for my glasses as it's doubly miserable not being able to see where you're going.
OS today will amount to emptying and reloading the DW. I am sooo lazy, I've been using it as a cupboard since Saturday when I last put it on. I have a pile of used dishes piling up. Sorry if this is giving you palpitations, I know that this would be "highly irregular" in many Old Style households. I'll run it again this evening, and empty it too, as it does get on my nerves when it's the cause of messy clutter.
Like a big dope I forgot to put my pedometer on yesterday morning. I was home at lunchtime so wore it from then forward. I just managed to break 1000 steps. How pathetic is that.
B = porridge, raisins and skimmed
L = sandwich, probably tuna. A piece or two of fruit.
D = remainder of the weekend's sausage casserole with rice
Snacks = fruit, yoghurt, bran muffin (sawdust flavour). ooh I would lurrrve some chocolate...
I forgot to put the heating on last night before I went to college. Yes, it's cool, but not especially cold considering it's the middle of the night. Hope this continues. As I'm rural I have oil central heating, and the price of it would scare you, so this helps to conserve my oil supply without actually freezing my nubbins off.
Have a lovely day everyone. MATH, sorry for not wishing Mrs MATH good luck with her interview. Fingers and everything else crossed that they are suitably impressed.
Bye everyone, and big hugs and kisses to those who are without their special person today for whatever reason.

Morning
:kisses3:Happy Valentines Day:kisses: :kisses2:
WM on and DW on ATM. The rest of the house is still clean and tidy. Toilet cleaned.
OH wants to go to a car auction today, then travel onto my sisters-where we're staying tonight and spending the day with tomorrow, but am not feeling well ATM. Think I have another head cold coming. Anyway, if we go-I will take a flask of hot coffee, some biccies and a couple of sarnies for us all to eat drink at the auction.
OH is treating us to a meal at a small restaurant(where my family live) and they do brilliant home cooked meals for about £4. My favs there are roasts, steak and kidney pud, lamb shank, lamb stew etc. DD will be with us, so not much valentines going on here today..LOL OH & I spend so much time together its nice taking DD out for a few treats. I had £40 in purse for treats etc this week and still have £28, but nothing will be spent today or tomorrow from me. Friday going to the cinema, then to TGI's but have a BOGOF meal voucher and £30 of vouchers to cover it.
Ive got to go, so everyone take care and hope everyone has a great valentines today.

:heart2: Happy Valentines all :heart2:
Gave OH pressie part one a few minutes ago (a DVD he keeps going on about). Part two is coming in the post (so he probably won't get it until tomorrow) and part three is in my tesco shopping which is arriving later today (with an extra points code of course).
Tea is going to be a big surprise as its whatever OH decides to make me out of the shopping. I do know that there'll be something yummy for afters.
MIL D-Day is in a couple of days time. So we're trying to forget about things until it happens.
Got my mortgage review yesterday....I'm going to pay an extra £35 from next month. As my mortgage is small its not worth moving it at the moment, so I'm investigating the deals possible by staying put. With luck I should be able to cut that extra £35 down to around £15 at the very least. However, OH and I need to chat about a few things before we can make the decision.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

Hello All
I'm avoiding Valentine's like the plague - it's not much fun being single for the first time since I was 17. Been on me tod for a year nearly now.
Having a hair cut later before going out with a mate from work. We're both single so we're going to see if there are any single blokes out there!
Must get petrol later, otherwise I won't be going anywhere.
Big hugs to all singletons out there and have a heart free day!!!Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

We don't "do" Valentines Day in our house - load of commercial claptrap really IMHO - anyway to those who do......:kisses: :kisses3:

TD is on, and am about to put WM on - no chance of line drying today though
Hope everyone has a good day - I'm going to be rushed off my feet at work - why is it when you take a day off it's sometimes more trouble than it's worth :wall:

Anyway. im going to get ready for work before I moan about him even more!
Have a lovely day all!
